There is a campaign to make preordering uncool by gaming sites because they want their reviews to influence purchases. I assume so publishers will buy more ad space on their sites in hopes to garner better scores..
Personally I never preorder unless I know I'm buying the game day one (Bloodborne) :)

Any open world game with endless fetch quests.
Go hunt and gather 5 deer skins to make a belt, go mark 6 different points on the map for supply drops (or whatever), go talk to these 3 people...
Endless (funless) travel back and forth just to make the game longer.

Arkane Studios hasn't announced what they have been working on since the Dishonored DLC, so hopefully there will be some sort of reveal next year.
Seems like a match made in heaven. Walking around in a world you built & fighting creepers in VR would be a blast, and a system seller.
The xbox one could pay for itself if they can incorporate DVR functionality somehow. I pay 9.99 a month to rent a DVR from the cable company.
Just watched a walkthrough video, I guess he's not a dj more like a guide. His name is Floyd, I just find his voice super annoying...
I was thinking of picking this game up but I found the "super, cool, awesome" DJ in the trailers extremely annoying.
Does he talk all through the game? Can you turn him off somehow?
How big of a deal is the 1 million $ in in game cash they are offering if you pre-order?
Is it hard to make that much, will it make the game more enjoyable?

I'll buy one! I really enjoyed Heavenly Sword & Enslaved. Both games had great characters that made me want to keep playing to see how things would turn out for them...
I agree with sleeping dogs being at the top, very fun game with lots to do.
I think a lot of developers pad games with time wasting fetch quests just to make a game longer, so this isn't necessarily a bad thing..
