No really? Are you serious? Next week we'll see an article saying Blu-ray is succeeding AGAIN? Well, which one is it? I don't care. I love Blu-Ray. If you have the right equipment it kicks the hell out of standard DVD.
I know they aren't trying to make this an argument. Let's look at the real facts: You can bash Sony for wanting to charge for clothes in Home and Microsoft's is free but, what about all the BS Microsoft charges along with their Live service. You have to pay for pictures, themes, and other content that is mostly free with Sony. Poor argument when you leave those facts out.
IM TIRED OF THE DAMN FEATURE "PART" WHATEVER, GET IT RELEASED ALREADY!!!
that feels that people (news, haters, xbox fanboys) just want the PS3 to fail? No one looks at the facts; they all seem to be ignored. Microsoft's strategy to sell the unreliable red ring of death Xbox is to sell it cheaper. Other than that, what real advantage does Microsoft have. Live? Please.
I'm sick and tired or reading about Sony having a "mediocre game library". That's BS and it's not even a valid argument. Sony's library is just as good as Xbox especially since "exclusive" seem to be going the way of the dinosaur. The problem, as was mentioned, is the price. Times suck right now, and people are going the cheaper rout and buying the Xbox (one of the most unreliable pieces of crap out there, almost like buying a KIA). Another good selling tool for Micro...
Shoooooooot, I wouldn't want my name affiliated with this garbage either. There's a reason games like this are supported; they are boring, lame, and are based on sex. If all I wanted was to see sex, I'll watch a porn with real women; not computer animation.
Ya I am. Most of the games I play now all have trophies. I refuse to play SOCOM because it didn't have trophies at release (and because of the bugs, lol). I bought Fallout on Xbox because it didn't have trophies. It must be mandatory that trophies be included. No excuses anymore. I am disappointed that games like CoD4 didn't add them (probably to force people to stop playing to buy the new CoD). Oh well.
Sony is really messing things up for this game, especially since they were pushing down our throats before release. This isn't my style of game, but I had to try it out to see what the hype was about. I got to tell you, it is a bit addictive. It's fun and a very creative piece of work. I'm glad I bought it.
WHAT THE #%@# DID WE WIN? All this talk about we won, we're winning...what did you win. If you shelled out money to buy this soon to be paper weight then it seems like a loss to me. Buy some more games it's more of a loss. So again, what did you win? Only people winning, and taking your money is Microsoft. So unless you work for them shut up.
and why does anyone care? They've given the worst rating out of all those that reviewed this game.
This was the only reason I didn't buy it for my PS3. I broke down and bought it for Xbox (bows head in shame) instead. lol
I love my PS3, but the man is right. I own both PS3 and Xbox; the PSN can't touch Live. Nothing is more frustrating for me than to get on a game and no one talks. These "team-based" online games aren't so team-based because no one talks. Warhawk is a big example for me. I think the battles would be much more intense, exciting, and well coordinated if people would spark some conversation up every once in a while. Hell, I would like to coordinate with my teammates and coordinate...
I'm glad to see more and more Sony exclusives putting up high game ratings. I was getting worried when the much anticipated SOCOM didn't do so well. If Sony continues to put out these kinds of exclusives they could really hurt Microsoft and start to take back what was theirs in the first place. Knowing Microsoft they'll make it rain in some other developers office and BUY another exclusive.
Everyone seems to be quick to blame Sony for these problems when in reality it's the developer. They are the ones that created the software bugs and flaws. Sony only provided the hardware. This is no surprise to me in that EA has always pushed flawed software on all us PS3 owners because they are rushed and trying to make a deadline. In my opinion, the dedication is to Microsoft more so than Sony. That's why I "retired" from Madden. Two years ago the PS3 version was garbage an...
You have to agree with all the break downs or "Red Rings of Death". Plus, Microsoft was getting killed in sales. What better way to shift sales then to have a good discount on price. The proof is in the numbers. Hogging all the exclusives didn't help, might as well do the next best thing.
Asking "Soldier Boy" what he thinks about PS3 is like asking Ja Rule about what he thinks about 9/11.
Ya'll can jump on the digital download bandwagon all you want. I love Blu-Ray. I'm going to venture to say that those that are against Blu-ray probably aren't taking full advantage of the experience. When I watch Blu-ray movies I'm blown away by the picture and sound. I can't see how digital downloads can even bring that kind picture and sound to you living the way a disc can. Now, since my PS3 crashed, I don't ever want to rely on any storage media to house my media because who knows if...

Game looks great though.
So much so, I have two. I agree it's not for everyone but if you are tech savvy I think you will love the system. Say what you want about Blu-ray but I love it. Then again, I have a kick ass 52 inch screen and a good surround sound system to really get the most out of the technology. Say what you want about the Playstation; the numbers are deceiving in my opinion. This is a great machine for tech enthusiasts and hardcore gamers alike.
