Going into the settings is what sends the "email verification" email to you email address. You click the link in the email and it completes the process.
I went to my PSN settings --> Account information --> Verified my address....
After doing this, I put my PS4 into rest mode and then turned it back on with the DS4 and it worked perfectly. This fixes the rest mode issue. I don't know why or how, but I gladly appreciate it.
My PS4 is experiencing the rest mode issue as well. I just power it all the way down as mentioned by others. I hope this gets fixed soon, but it's not really an issue.
I've had my PS4 for quite a while now, but the PS4 is easier to find than the Playstation 4 camera is. I've been searching for a camera and they are sold out in the stores and online. Amazon has it listed over $100 dollars.

I personally would never use the share button. At the moment it just gets in the way. People continue to press it on accident and I have to delete multiple captures everyday. Other than that & NBA 2K14 crashing, my PS4 is great.
As soon as I signed in my PS4 it stated that maintenance was currently going on.
Finally got mine this morning from Best Buy. They had 64 PS4's at the location I went to. I was number 58... Lucky me... Glad I can finally be a part of Next-Gen now...

I agree. I have a external hdd that uses usb 3.0 and doesn't work on the PS3 slim. I was looking forward to the PS4 having usb 3.0, but I guess i'll have to wait.
My PS3 has all of my music on it. I listen to it daily. I doubt Music Unlimited will have everything I listen too. A lot of mixtapes and things of that nature.
I hope this get patched quick. One thing about Sony is that if the consumer complains enough, they'll usually address the issue....
Things loaded a bit slowly. I need my PS4 to be able to play games while background music is playing, but also allow me to pause, pull up my browser and stream a video such as the one we are watching now without any issues.
So the blu-ray drive would be working with music playing and a video loading. If it can't do this then I will be highly disappointed. I already have to wait on the patch to play my music. I'm definitely not using Sony's music app.

Funny you say you're in school. I'll be receiving a bachelors in Networking & Communication Management next month. Can't wait to just go to work & get off to play my PS4 without having papers to write and test/quizzes to take. Been a long 4 years.
Regardless Yehshuah, if you're on N4G and don't game then you're obviously in the wrong place.
CD Keys always has these type of deals.. I got my PS+ from them back in May for only $34 or so.
