That's strategy. They don't want all games shown in the same 2-3 days, as everybody would only speak of the top 2-3. If you have a game every 15 days, people would focus on it alone. Just wait until E3 is settled down and you'll see great news coming (my prediction).

Studios have to be evolving and preparing. As FinaLXiii said, Versus is just 2 years in developement, and it is said to have a choped-down version of Luminous studio as the core engine. Just be patient and undesrtand that we are talking about a ton of hours and a ton of money there.

Too many surprises are counterproductive: you never manage to get the focus as much as you would want, with so many games and new things arround. It's better to get the spotlight for you in a more scalated way (GTA5 will probably do this, after E3 buzz where no one will bother it, as well as other games having their own presentations like Monster Hunter 4).
So I'm happy to see what I saw, what I didn't see and what it's expecting us. After all, it's a gro...

It's a shame the HD versions contains the same songs as the original... it would be another must buy for me. I love the original, a very good music game.

I find some of them underwhelming. Angel is Devil Jin, and I don't feel Michelle style is anything new (I think I saw some Asuka moves and some grapples form the "luchadores"). Kunimitsu can be interesting... I don't know, we'll have to wait to real matches to find about it, a trailer doesn't show as much as we would like.
The game promotes diversity. If it can be replayable enough, 12 hours seems fine.
