They said they'll leave DRM up to publishers way back in Feb. And PS4 does not require online (except for obvious features like multiplayer and cloud)
That way gamers don't need to boycott an entire console.
MS is definitely having hardware issues, and that goes beyond just low ESRAM yields. Each tech issue they try to fix, is bringing about new problems. The same goes for their policies too.
Top MS guys thought Sony was going to come out with a significantly weaker system and much later.
The PS4 reveal caught MS off guard with an earlier release date and beefier tech.

Demon's Souls is mine
But sooo hyped about this game.
From Software (Demons Souls, Dark Souls, 3D Dot Game Heroes) and Naughty Dogs easily have been my favorite devs this generation.
I always remember that episode of Punk'd when he seemed happy when that guy caught fire from the blast and then pulled out his phone to record it.
Since then I was like f' that guy.
Then I heard his lyrics (Tron Cat?) about raping a pregnant girl to have a threesome, and that sealed it.
I'm too old for that kind of crap now.

Agreed. We haven't seen all of the games yet.
But even without seeing the games, I'll say that it's maybe the most important e3 ever.
What "anti-consumerist drm" policies MS or Sony chooses to push forward with, will most likely be clarified there (I hope).
Then it's up to us gamers to show what we will or won't accept with our wallets.
It may be a rough e3 for some.
My wishlist for PS4 (besides the obvious titles) would be:
- Demon's Souls 2
- Warhawk 2
- Heavenly Sword 2
- A new 3D Dot Heroes
- Valkyria Chronicles
- A 2D Castlevania (but they're releasing the new LOS)
- Twisted Metal Black 2
- A new LAIR (I was the one that loved the first game)
