good catch...microtransactions are a menace to gaming...and hopefully we get the entire game on disc.
the next generation looks wow...i just hope for one thing...no microtransactions and we still get physical games!
those who don't want to upgrade to Xbox One, and there will be quite a few of those, at least MS should support the x360 for another year or so. once enough titles are backwards compatible, then these guys can move up to xbox one.
There is definitely potential there considering how they're marketing GOW Ultimate Edition.
DLC and microtransactions should go!
I didnt write it. but the article talks about the shockwaves.
well written piece. It doesnt try to take any sides and is very obective about the entire E3 presentation by Microsoft. I hope Sony counters this move with better games (which they plan to) if they can't deliver bc.
i doubt any other game can top this.

well truth be told, Sony's television division has suffered off late. I read this with an open mind and the author does mention that the PS4 has carried Sony which is not far from the truth. He cites Gamespot and a simple google search can tell you that Sony has to deal with several issues. they shut down their PC division, and Ericcson deal is over. They lost money on the Interview movie.
I dont see the hate. Everyone has a right to an opinion. haters gonna hate. I remem...
I respect your opinion. However, the idea behind the article is the rule of thumb: games make the console. if the PS4 sold over 20 mill units, those sales were driven by games. most of those same games were on the xbox one too. The article isnt a list piece, its observation and analysis in my opinion so no matter how many games he could have listed, the reaction from the 'other side' would be no different. PS4 is unbeaten hands down. I would say the same if Xbox One was making a killi...
really? have you read the piece? it lists facts and points out upcoming titles that could drive ps4 sales. at the same point it even says that xbox one and wii u may have done well on their own but the PS4 is still king. That is one fact no one can deny, no matter whose side you are on. I did like the point where he says about each of us having our favorites. he isnt playing favorites, its just how this generation had played out. had it been xbox one winning this generation, what would you ha...
Sony is a beast consumed with rage. the playstation division is their most profitable one it seems. I havent seen this scale of Sony domination since the PS2.
who can challenge the undisputed champ? Like Ali, the PS4 can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. Who's next? Which console can really offer the PS4 any challenge?
Old school Street Fighter baby..those were the days and the Mortal Kombat cheat codes!
its likely the author is trying to balance the good with the bad. I doubt we will go back to the 90s business model unfortunately.
Interesting arguments here. While each generation gives us incredible new gaming experiences, I would still prefer the era when gaming was simple and times were innocent. Why can't the KISS approach work today?
great..wont miss out on this one
its about games inmho. PS4 does seem to have a better round of exclusives than Xbox One. it could be a 2-0 this year too for PS4.
its going to confuse their fans even more. plus we'll even see more bickering on gaming forums on which one is better.
