wow. completely identical. even the lighting is the same. the devs did a great job. still not sure about this game though.
i beat it last night as a female vanguard. right after the credits finished rolling, i started over with a male sentinel. lots of re-playability imo. will keep me busy until Bioshock2 drops this month.
i'm hoping that they at least make use of the new Unreal Engine. ME2 runs off of UE3.5 so it would only make sense that ME3 run off of UE4
Rubberlegs is correct. i won't tell you who it is though since you asked for no spoilers, but you do pick them up during the IFF mission. i haven't activated them yet.
i want armor and weapon dlc. like the collector armor that came with the CE would be cool.

great game. i recommend everyone pick it up. i'm about 12hrs in and i can tell you now i'll be playing it over several times. a lot better than the first imo.
edit: @ below, actually 3 days in US. came out on tuesday. it's currently friday...
