this is awesome news for those on 360!
unless you've played Witcher2 on PC and X360, you technically can't say which is better.
BUT, us PC kids know that it will get downgraded a good bit for X360.
a lot of Witcher2 players have been enjoying it with the 360 pad but i still stand by RPGs being better suited for mouse/kb

i feel the same way regarding reviews. don't pay them too much attention, but never a good sign when a game releases and there still aren't any at all.

heck yeah it is! it has 3 negative reviews on metacritic out of a ton of positive ones. just goes to show you there's always gonna be someone trying to bring a great game down.
didn't get much performance gains other than when i un-pause or come back from inventory screen etc to play it doesn't stutter/drop frames. most performance gains happened with retail versions. i have the DRM-free one from gog.com so i never experienced long loading screens and such.
yeah there's lots of dudes playing it with a pad on PC and say it works very well but i just enjoy playing RPGs with mouse/kb.
i have a 5 button mouse where two of the buttons are on the left side. one of them is set to pull sword/use sign and the other is set to sheathe my sword. it works very well how i have it set up. i'm finally on act two and haven't ran into a situation yet where i wished i was using a pad instead.

i'd never heard about this game until a few weeks ago. it does look pretty good. plus it has co-op! might pick it up

it's not hard. it took me a crap ton of tries, but it was only because i didn't realize how you did the last blow to him. after i figured that out, it was a cake walk. i played him on normal, but since then i've kicked it up to hard =P
