thats cool and all but did they really have to waste resources making some tacked on multiplayer when the real meat and potatos of a game like this is the single player?

I hate people who complain about a games linearity. Not every linear game is crap, and not every non-linear game is amazing, its how well the game is developed and how fun it is
Some of the best games I've ever played have been linear experiences and I still get replay value out of them because they were so well made

Its pretty clunky on the controller and the game becomes more of a cover based shooter, try it with mouse and keyboard..
Thats really dumb if I wanted a multi-media device that could do a lot of things I'd just get a PC, which I have. The only thing I want the console to do is play video games and have some essential integrated features like friends lists and what not. Don't waste resources making it so that I can clap to make my console play a movie and make me a smoothie

Its seriously bizarre, I know in my mind that these achievements are utterly meaningless but yet I still strive to get them. Sometimes I am fueled to stick it out through an otherwise not-as-fun game experience just because I know achievements will be added to my profile

I think people give COD too much of a bad rap for its visuals. Its a game designed to run at 60 fps on consoles, so of course sacrifices must be made to maintain that but believe it or not COD can be darn pretty when maxed out on the PC

I'd definitely start looking into purchasing one of these things once they get high definition displays worked into them, because apparently one of the issues with the early versions of the rift is that they are a little low definition
I didn't think remedy was doing alan wake 2 at the moment? they have that other exclusive xbox one game they are doing. But if they announce alan wake 2 as exclusive for the xbox one that would be very disappointing! The game would be superb on the PC, and I think the ps4 should get it too

one thing is for certain 'casual' and 'hardcore' are far too binary of terms, a scale or spectrum of how dedicated you are to gaming or a game is much better
also being labeled 'casual' is a bit stigmatizing and humiliating, when in reality it really shouldn't be because I'd argue very few games are truly 'hardcore'
