Its really that simple. I will not bother to explain again. Its not about multiplats, its about strenghthing sony game portfolio, PS4 does not have a competitive MP focused exclusive shooter like warhawk or resistance.
you should read my post again because i never said multiplayer only game, i said a multiplayer focused game, halo,warhawk,starhawk,twisted metal,resistance are all multiplayer focused games with single player modes as well except for warhawk.
I love single player games but sony has enough of those. we need at least 1 big AAA killer competitive multiplayer exclusive game that can compete with the likes of halo. sony needs to fill up the blindspots in their portfolio.

bloodborne has multiplayer but its more like a feature not something that has longevity

Thats a good feature but one that is not really needed as bad since you can easily change the HDD on the PS4 in 5 minutes unlike the xbox which has no choice but to support external HDD. Having a swap-able HDD is better than external. I have a 2tb HDD on my PS4 But i agree they should add external support it
xbox UI received an overhaul to be more like the PS4 UI, so its faster, easier and straight foward. Sony needs to work faster on the updates but its microsoft who is trying to copy the PS4 UI.

Uncharted and TLOU dont "need multiplayer" either since their singleplayer is more than enough to justify a purchase but they actually do.... and its amazing.
Either way sony is already has enough singleplayer IPs, what they do need is a great multiplayer IP besides uncharted and TLOU.
We need a new resistance game or a new twisted metal and a new warhawk seriously and what happened to Socom 2? We need some of that playstation MP action back.
