I have the same tv and I am so disappointed beyond belief.. I don’t understand how this is actually the worst hdr job I’ve seen this gen and this is RED DEAD 2! I did not see this coming, I don’t understand why hdr being on makes the game look awful and off makes it more vibrant but not THAT vibrant. ITs also extremely blurry.. we need an option to turn off motion blur.. BEGGING YOU ROCKSTAR!
I knew right away that something was off. Everything was SO washed out, you said it perfectly.. god of war and Spider-Man were crystal clear and not native 4K either..
I have told all my friends the games hdr is broken and they should turn it off right away.. they immediately notice its a bit better!

I'm pretty upset about it. I'd be okay with not having native 4k if the checkerboard 4k on PS4 Pro was implemented well. God of War and Spiderman weren't native 4K but were MUCH sharper than Red Dead 2. Look at the stars at night on a PS4 pro.. it's not sharp and the stars are blurry.
Also, HDR is broken in the game, colors look washed out.

I love the music but the fact it's mostly red worries me. Red is the worst colour for an OLED tv, and If i keep it my theme for a while, it might cause burn in. Love the music though so I'll keep it for a bit :)

I'd rather all my favorite game studios take 8 years to make their games and make them the best they can be (uncharted, horizon, last of us, god of war) rather than 3-4. I think 5 years is a good sweet spot for developers.. but overall... take your god damn time and give us something really special :)

I'd hold out on any sales unless they're ridiculously good.. black friday sale is a month away and that's usually the best sale of the year :)
For me, both great games.. god of war is a 10 and god of war is a solid 8.5. God of war’s story, pacing, and surprises give it the edge overall though, as Spider-Man made some decisions that hampered the experience for me.. god of war was a masterpiece from start to finish though
I'm excited to play this on my playstation pro, but if Xbox One X players get a better resolution or better graphics, I'll be a tiny bit jealous... though they do deserve to be thrown a bone, they legit only have Forza, Ori and the Blind Forest, Cuphead, and Halo/Gears.. so I'm happy they'll get something. Can't help but be annoyed since this will most definitely be coming out on PS5 with much better specs a la GTA5 on ps3/ps4. Hyped for this game!!
I cannot believe there was no motorstorm ps4 this gen. Motorstorm was THE racing game for me. It was beautiful, and sold well. They made a Knack 2 but didn't make driveclub 2 or a motorstorm!?
Really want to finally play it, I never knew if I’d be able to get into it. I love a good story and world to explore. Do you recommend playing the PS4 remaster or VR version for the first time?

Why don't they give her the opportunity to take Uncharted back!? It was her baby and she had her own direction she wanted the series to go in. If Anyone could be given the franchise by Naughty Dog, SHE would be the only person to make it perfect.
completely agree. We already have a billion great single player games. Why not have ONE incredible co-op experience with a friend. Super rare to be able to go through a story in a game with a friend like this. Loved every second of it
Just finished A Way Out with my best friend last night and it was amazing. It was so much better than I thought it would be we had a blast. Can't wait for his next one :)
Wow, Ninja theory sold out big time. I was a HUGE fan of their games and have been playing since heavenly Sword. Fuck them, they just screwed all of their fans and went in the opposite direction of what they want to do. BOOOO
Makes me happy to see how much people are enjoying this. I just played Beyond Two Souls and liked it way more than I thought I would.. and that game was last gen and looked like one of the best games I've ever played. Cannot wait to play this :) Can't wait to see what this studio does next! They're on a roll!
