Actually I'm hoping the game turns out well. I like the direction the story is going. Humans have lost, Earth is taken over and just a few stranded resistance fighting strugglers. Sounds more serious and real but I see the single player footage and its just another shooter. Same boring updated, more detailed Chimera. Woopeedoo.

2007:PS3 SUCKS. $600 for a machine that plays the same games and worse(madden07) and the few exclusives are embarassingly bad (Genji, Lair, Haze)
2012: PS3 ROCKS. $250 for Bluray, Non proprietary HD, Free Online, Free wireless, multi platforms equal now, exclusives are great.
My Loyalty is to my money. I don't have loyalties to either Sony or Microsoft. I want the most bang for my hard earned dollar.
Next Gen's Killer Feature: Multiple Screens
Along with everything that was already mentioned (blueray, bluetooth, 1080P, 60fps etc) I think multiple screen support would be the Killer Feature that will win the next gen war.
Just look at YouTube of 3 monitor setup. You have to actually turn your eyeballs left and right like you would in real life. The improvement in gameplay is drastic. My friend has a PC and I got to try it. 3 monitors really draws you in...
Walmart (only US right now) is $60 instead of $70 everywhere else and you also get a $10 credit only valid on their website AND you get the Game of the Year edition of Arkham Asylum. Nevermind 4 hours when you got another 15 hours with AA.
THe walmart deal is the best so far by a long shot-$10 less + $10 online credit + AA probably valued $25.

Well said clank543, I totally agree. The Boss fights could have been better designed but it certainly doesn't ruin the game. I was worried at first reading some of the reviewer's criticsm regarding this but after fighting my first 2 boss fights I didn't it was such a big deal.

1)Shoot Back. When you are shot at be sure to shoot back right away as getting shot is not healthy and you will die.

I've always said that I'm satisfied with the level of graphics this generation. PS3, Xbox360 both have great graphics but OMG if they release a PS4 and Xbox720 titles with graphics like that, my ps3 will become a door stopper.
This is like visual cocaine. One look and you're hooked. You're a buyer. Totally helpless and will pay anything.
Looking at the increasing develop time for each subsequent title, Doom4 will be released for PS5 and Xbox1440.
Anyways, we already have many Doom substitutes and they're pretty awesome: Dead Space1&2, Resident Evil5&6, Metro. I've lost interest in Doom series after Doom3 was released when Jesus Christ was alive.
