The way they handled the beta in terms of communication was horrible. I do not mind that it was so closed. I am upset that they heavily teased and promoted the beta as if it was going to be a lot more open.
For the past 3 years Ive watched Eurogamer turn from my favorite website to absolute garbage. It's like they chose to be different than other reviewers at the expense of writing good reviews and being good journalists.
Definitely GOW. Unlike other games which seem to nail either the Story/characters aspect or the Gameplay aspect of a game, GOW perfectly gets all elements right. Its an amazing game from start to finish and sets the standards high for all other developers.
Happy to see GOW grabbing more GOTYs. RDR2 2 is a masterpiece in story and character design, but in terms of pure gameplay it falls flat. GOW nailed the gameplay on top of its story and characters. I dont understand why IGN gets so much hate for their reviews. I played over 100 games in the past 4 years and I always check reviews. Very few were the times where I felt IGN's review stood far from my own review of the game.
