@MMOGames
Have any unique ideas?
Agreed. I wish they were putting something in this go around like that too.
True. Maybe they should just make the normal amount of levels for the rank but make it so that there are milestones to even be able to make certain ranks. For example, so many kinds of a certain medal have to be obtained before you can make a specific rank. So many multi-player wins have to be done to make another rank and so on. This give you a milestone to work for and eventually you get a new rank for working hard.
Try again buddy. I had to re-link it. My mistake.
Fixed. I was reading an article about that and the idea sparked about MW3 done in that fashion. I was also reading an article about the marketing campaign for MW3 and how it was compared to Black OPS. Then the idea sparked about how big it would be with an "accidental" loss.
I don't think it was lost on purpose either. But, I wrote the article for a quick laugh.
I would definitely agree with you here!
@creatchee
I found this link...
http://www.callofduty.com/e... which helped clear a few things up.
Well. Not if you consider that most of the stuff offered used to be free. I wrote this article about it... http://jordanemery.com/gami... Then, I'm sure you won't consider it worth $50 either.
As bad as they may seem, people will always buy them no matter how good or bad they are. I have to admit though, they are not overpriced for a few hours of entertainment though. At least compared to a 2 hour movie ticket that costs $10. This $15 map pack at least can last for a really long time.
I noted ways that they could still make money. Trust me, they could still make features and ideas that would catch peoples eyes that would only be unique in their own maps. People will always buy them. They aren't stupid. If they create maps, they will make the very "wanting" by gamers.
For example, in the new map pack the Treyarch is putting out, it includes exploding bridges, auto turrets that shoot anyone and ziplines. If you don't buy the map packs, the...
Modern Warfare 3 is already made. The thing is, Infinity Ward was due to release it. Issues between them and Activision put a few problems on its release. Sadly, I don't think this game will make it to the market.
I can't even imagine what kind of features, perks etc. that would even go into a future setting game. Halo has the future stuff already I think...
I have always enjoyed the Sonic games. I hope that they bring them back with fixes and upgrades.
I'm going to look around and try to find some other stats to measure up against these numbers.
I'm not 100% sure about the exact time but I do know they are 2010 numbers.
I would say that First Person Shooters are definitely the biggest genre of games for this generation.
I think the video editing feature like this will be a well like feature. I'm sure we may see this in other games as well.
In all honesty, look at the numbers and the statistics... COD is he most played and biggest shooter game series in history. Obviously something is going right even though they take a lot of heat. I just look at it this way.... "You can't please everyone" With that many people that play the game, issue would be found in any game.
COD isn't the #1 shooter game/series out of pure luck. I'm still anxious to see how long this series last and what they throw a...
I think it would be worth giving it a try and see how it goes.
I "think" fans would like this option more than waiting on maps to come out every few months. At least this would keep things fresh.
