He says that the PS3 is not what consumers and developers wanted in an earlier invterview?
While it hasn't had a huge launch and it's share of issues, its obvious that consumers (not all consumers) want the PS3.
It's a mistake to compare the console mfg/developer relationship to the consumer/console mfg relationship and the consumer/developer relationship.
Why is it a mistake? The console mfg and the developer will not make $ on their own. They n...
Do you see the smilie face at the end of the comment? It means I'm joking. Just a little dig. A funny. ...but if I have to explain it, it's probably lost anyway.
I have a 360 and love it and have been lucky enough not to have a problem. There is a problem with at least a portion/batch of 360s, period. Just own up to it.
I have a suggestion for MS. I'm an MCSE. Why not create a MCXT (Microsoft Certified XBox Tech)? I'll gladly sign up, become certified, and take some of the "heat" off of the repair/warranty repair facility and test new hardware/software. I'll call the issue whatever they want me to call it. :~)

Great view but I agree with the rear view mirror thing. Get that thing fixed!
Can't wait for the game to come out.

If it's anything like the PS2 one, the d-pad works great.
So basically they took their wireless controller for the PS2 and swapped out the PS2 dongle for a USB one. I use Logitech's wireless controller for the PS2 and love it. As soon it came out, I dumped the wired ones and used these exclusively.
I guess until some real good Sixaxis games come out (WarHawk), these would work great.

...that pretty much sums it up...

CNN Money has now picked up the story. More proof, not opinion.

I'd like to see yet another comparison article that compares how many comparison articles are published vs the actual number of minutes it takes for me not to care about comparison articles.
Both the 360 and the PS3 are great (I haven't used a Wii yet so I can't comment). You guys ("you guys" = authors of these articles) compare notes/systems, I'll have fun playing and not caring.

Maybe it is possessed. I thought I heard the ghost of an Xbox 360 Preium. ("I used to be the best...I used to be the best") :~)
I most agree with point 4 in the article.
I bought the 360 Premium (12/06) because it was PREMIUM and not because it would trumped a few months down the line by an Elite version (and if I wanted to get it, to also pay an additional $229 for the unit after the reported $250 trade in value on my existing unit).
I'm highly disappointed with MS for this move; one that should have been done from the beginning.
I'll be holding my breath for the next ...
I had fun with the first one so I'll be checking this one out too.
...
...not much more to say. The subject says it all.
...but what is actually produced can be very different. I'll wait and see on this one.
Made me laugh. Good commercial, but I agree with AppleSlime about it lasting on US TV.
Can't wait for it to come out.
Um, yes, it is detachable. Just because it doesn't have it's own EXTERNAL ATTACHMENT doesn't mean it isn't detachable. Have you ever worked on a desktop? Would you say the HDD isn't detachable? Would you say that if the HDD went out on a PC that you need to replace the whole PC? No, you wouldn't. And if you did, you would be 100% wrong. Yes the PS3 drive isn't external and more difficult to get to. And yes, it is detachable. Maybe portability isn't the greatest for the PS3 HDD, but d...
Weak, weak, weak. I hear a kindergartner screaming, "I WAS HERE FIRST!".
Gabe is coming off as a whiner. He's not helping his cause by continuing his rant.
As far as a conspiracy, the PS3 is a larger departure from the last generation than the 360 is to it's predecessor. With that comes a lot of obstacles and a much greater learning curve. While I like both systems, I'm hoping that the learing curve hasn't been set too long that developers/people give up on the PS3 and it's architecture. What we're hearing is the frustration of that learning cur...
