Best racing game I own.
That was a ridiculous comparison. Gran Turismo 5 is a far better simulator than any of the Forzas. Get out of here.
I've been logged into GT5 for 6 hours now. Someone help me!!!
Totally misleading title. Gran Turismo 5 isn't disappointing gamers. Gran Turismo 5 is disappointing gamers expecting guns, explosions, arcade physics like Forza, and the like.
Gran Turismo 5 came, saw, and conquered. You want to see what it's like to drive a Ferrari? You're either going to have to drive one, or play Gran Turismo 5. Anything else is below standard.
Fanboys are at full-force. I have no idea how someone who claims to be a gamer but can't throw down a measly $299 for a gaming machine as great as the PS3. These people baffle me.
Awesome review.
Great review. I notice that those who went into the game looking for a racing sim are saying it's the best in the business. Those looking for guns and explosions aren't too happy. I'm not surprised.
The DFGT is more bang for your buck, but the G27 will offer a better experience.
If you have lots of money laying around, G27. If not, DFGT.
I can't wait to get home from work and sit down and play this game for 5 days straight non-stop. I would never consider buying a $100 peripheral for any other game, but Gran Turismo is different!
This is basically a review from XboxFanboy.com. Not to be taken seriously.
I call 7.5~ million by the end of 2011.
I think the addition of the standard cars is a good idea. The game could've easily just had 250~ premium cars, but instead, Polyphony decided to add 800 standard cars to ensure that almost every car people want in the game would be there.
There's no way in HECK they could've made all 1000 cars premium. That'd take over 15 years.
I disagree, but a wheel really does make a huge difference.
Remarkable. It only does everything.
I highly recommend the Move.
Am I allowed to say this looks like it'll be my favorite game of this generation.
Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, and Metal Gear are all my top franchises. All three have captivated me with several titles. GT5 looks to be yet another blockbuster to add to those three franchises.
The song is from Initial D.
The band who performs it is called Move, and they have a song I really like.
Want to play real games? Move.
Want to plug holes in glass, kick balls, punch balls, dance, and hold your hands up like you're a hitchhiker? Get that thing that costs $150 and requires the giant living space.
Awesome. I welcome this with open arms.
