YEAAAAAAAH That Gamer Hub Rocks, podcast new format is good to!
I LOVE this show and think that the quiz style of podcast is a great idea.
Hopefully Rise Of Nightmares can be the first step in the right direction for games turning slowly towards what Kinect can actually do for 'hardcore' or 'less casual' games.
The next Ghost Recon and Forza's integration of Kinect may also be a great step in the right direction.
??
Great idea! I am in favour of that!
Wow! Playing Japanese must have made the story hard to follow! lol That is cool though!
I think seeing footprints in the snow was the first thing that made me think... wow... this game is more realistic than any other game ever.... Looking back now with the games and technology we have, small things like that we don't notice now... we expect it!
Bubble up for you sir!
Yes I agree, when this writer had covered the article I read it and remembered back to those days... A memory that sprung to my mind was when I remember playing Metal Gear Solid 1 for the first time and being blown away by the graphics!!!!
Now they look... not so hot... lol
They were awesome but I think it is too early to write off that Capcom is falling, or it is the 'fall of Capcom' I believe it is probably a blip in their history.
Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 were not bad games and they sold moderately. Not a shadow on what they used to sell like though.
well said!
thats pretty much what are reviewer said, it's okay apart from the voice acting, he had many game breaking glitches getting stuck on textures or on rocks, trees, etc.
I have heard a lot of great things about this game, you guys have really sold it to me with these comments though, the reviewer who wrote this suggested it to me and I have not heard ONE bad thing about this game, so I'm off to go get it and play it,
thanks guys.
thanks for wasting your time commenting and adding to the degrees though, thank you very much!
I completely agree with you there! The game is GREAT, it is one of the best and most enjoyable platform games I have played in a long, long time.
Very, very dark though!
That's a fair call, I agree. Portal 1 only really had the puzzles, it made for a more simple game. Is anyone actually excited for the Portal 2 DLC though? :(
More puzzles, chambers and DLC is coming and the first batch should be free.
Unlucky that you did not get to experience the co-operative multiplayer with a friend.
The singleplayer story is great though, I agree with you there 100%. I loved it all the way through.
I agree, well said. Checkpoints, Save On The Fly and many other similar factors have made games easier than they used to be but the trend is slowly turning backwards with the likes of Demon Souls to being that games are tougher and make you work for them.
Games don't have to be as tough now because we do have major breaktrhoughs in game design, storytelling and actual gameplay than what we had 10-15-20 years ago, when games had to be tough to provide a challenge.
Yes, I enjoyed some of the trap mechanics too. Shame the game is no co-op it seems like it would be better suited to co-op play.
PS3 don't even need this game, it's rubbish on Xbox. I have both and I would not want to play this game again on either platform.
well said i'm going to bubble up one for you, The Darkness was a great game, deep story and some awesome mechanics, are you looking forward to The Darkness 2?
I agree, the game is not meant to be realistic, it marries arcade racing and elements of the real world together. I love it too but still not a patch on Driver 1 & 2. Bubble up for your taste in classic games :)
