Their main player base and the people that watch the reveal should be the center of attention. over 90% of people that watched the reveal are gamers. And the people they are marketing this system to are most likely watching Television!

Angry Birds and Minecraft have a charming art style. They are easy on the eyes. Graphics are extremely important for impressions and appeal.
I actually noticed a larger graphical difference between PS4 and PC than I notice with almost all current gen games and PC.
I think that's because the PC versions this gen didn't get much attention, so they were sloppy and didn't look much better than the consoles.
Don't forget the PS3 can't do 1080p.
This makes no sense' If it can read discs why not read CDs? Music stores still sell Cds. People still buy them' and everyone has a collection.
A bluray disc is still a Compact Disc.

Consoles need to die.
Those mods in the picture are graphical mods. They bring high end computers to their knees. With consoles we are dealing with fixed hardware. So graphics mods on fixed hardware would either need to very minimalistic, or have to be very optimized, or turn the game into a slide show.
The only mods for consoles would be weapon or armor mods and the like. Why would companies let users give out free mods when the companies can make the content themselves and profit off of it?
I have always wanted an Endless Ocean style game on a current generation system.

This is sad. Back when I got my Wii the Conduit was my most hyped game and I thought it turned out to be good too.
I was excited about the Grinder and Conduit 3DS.
Its sad to see a company with so much passion towards games shut down like this. They had so much potential!
