best metal gear game in 3d for a handheld. day one for me.
...but still you need the glasses and the people watching need glasses. any if your not sitting in the middle of the tv you won't get the full effect. I say wait till technology furthers and true 3d tv are released.
Handheld came back when the DS was released and since then has not died. Look at Japan's love for handhelds and the worlds obsession with anything iPod/iTouch related.
Completely agree with the price but I don't see the system releasing that soon. I think it'll be at least late winter or early spring. Especially since they didn't announce a date and you can pretty much expect them not to have a conference at Gamescon or Tokyo Game Show as usual so don't expect a date announced anytime soon. With new dev tools I think it'll take the devs a while to fix out kinks and learn about the system. Hopefully they come out wit more than one color. ...
Problem is unlike the 3DS the PS3's 3d gaming isn't as accessible as 3DS. No glasses need and expensive tv needed. I can't afford a 3d tv but I more than likely can afford a 3DS if I save up for a year.
Yeah that was a big fuck up on their part and overall a bad way to open a show. But the rest of the show totally compensated for that fuck up. Seriously if you grew up with Nintendo its hard not to be excited.
Wow thats near Gamecube level graphics. About even with PSP graphics and it has 3d. 3DS = show stealer. Seriously Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Professor Layton, Street Fighter, Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive, all in glorious 3d, I have officialy become a bi-fanboy. So the battle is between Nintendo the current champ vs the challenger Sony. Sony better take a page out of Nintendo's playbook and just show games. Nintendo had very little casual shit and mostly all core games. They brought back old established franchise and gave them a new twist or brought them back to their roots. 3Ds is pretty much the show stealer, with all the games and developers support its hard to top it. If Sony focuses to much on casual Move shit than it'll end up like MS. ...
MS gives free 360s, and Nintendo gives hot female 3Ds "service", what the hell is sony gonna give? I have just jumped over the fence in to Nintendo fandom. Kid Icarus, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear, Resident Evil and Professor Layton damn my brain shutdown when I heard that. I'm just scared of the price. It may be PSP launch expensive or even more. With all the technology in it, its hard to believe that this sell at anything cheaper than 249.99.

awesome showing. loved the new feature in need for speed. and man did dead space look good. plus loved how some of the audience surprised were when they said they'll show more at the sony conference. can't wait for the sony conference and nintendo conference, only to see the 3ds.

wow did sony really win this even before e3? sony had more core game announced before e3 than microsoft had in both their media events and conference combined. and the scary thing is with so many titles announced prior to e3, what the hell will they show this year? will it be a bunch of casual bs like MS second half of the show or will they steal the show with huge bombs. i have this nagging feeling that sony will have the only megaton announcement this e3. sony u best not f*ck this up.
really $150 price tag and a $400 bundle? so are games included in any of these skus? MS needs to at least bundle in a game. unless kinect comes with a game than $150 is way to expensive. really MS you introduce ppl to this hardware that can infinite possibility and you don't reveal any price, this will worry the consumer and may bite u in the ass in the future. that is assuming all this is true. 150 is pretty much the price of an arcade now.
