I wonder why they used the Source engine instead the Frostbite 3 engine, it's pretty much being used for all of EA non-sport games. Its definitely a more powerful engine.
Wait, what?!?! SMH! Marketing the Wii U to kids is not the solution but the problem. Why won't Nintendo understand the Wii was a fluke phenomenon. Stop trying to repeat it's success. Kids have moved on from the Wii and so should you guys.
I don't think the next Assasins Creed will be that good. I think Black Flag was such a great game because there was more variety in game play. All the naval combats and sea gameplay made up for all the repetitive troupes you find in an Assasin's Creed game. I can only see it reach levels of success on par with the Gamecube if only a little better. There is no chance in hell it will ever reach be as successful as Nintendo originally wanted it to be. I still think it can find a place in the market as second console to the PS4 or Xbox One. It's first party games alone will keep the system alive.

If servers are down on day one, that could cripple all the momentum and hype this game has built. It would be stupid if no one can play the game on launch cause of server issues. I hope they are ready. I have high hopes this game will be good , though I won't be picking it up as I don't have either a PC that could probably run it or any Xbox systems.
Really, do we need a new Dragon Ball game every couple of years. Damn the series has been over for so long. How many time can you re-tell or re-imagine the same DBZ story over and over again. At least come up with a new story.

Do I have to play FF X2 to see the epilogue, I didn't really enjoy playing it that much. Though I did finish it just see how it ended.
Devs do need to find away to make more money off a game. They barely break even or make money on a game itself nowadays.
Because Sony developed the system for gamers by gamers. They didn't see devs as just product makers but as gamers who want to make games they want for other games.
Metroid and Zelda are games for the core. While I can see Zelda selling some units to those on the fence or waiting for the next installment, it won't appeal to the millions of casual Wii owners. Plus that game won't be out by next year at best and by then it could be to late. Metroid on the other hand will do nothing more than a small increase for maybe a week.

Sad thing is that most of the people that bought Mario Kart Wii were casual gamers and they moved on to their smart phones and tablets. I see this helping as it their biggest franchise but I just don't think there are that many people left from the Wii install base willing to upgrade. This is make it or break it year for Wii U. If this or Smash won't save it then frankly nothing will.

Wow as a tournament Smash player this saddens me. Edge hogging was so essential to the hard-core metagame. Hope this game doesn't become to casual. Just goes to show you that Melee was the best in the franchise. It's why Project M even exists to fix all that was horrible about Brawl.

While paying for Youtubers for promotion is very common place, most from what I've watched tend to say they are a part of a promotion with a company. The part that really ticks me of is the non-disclosure part of MS and Machinima's deal. There are rules to marketing on the internet and being open about the promotion is one of them.
when you have main stream media reporting this like the gaurdian, huffington post, and wired uk reporting on this then its not a "non-story". when you cross the line and start breaking rules then people will notice.
