I believe that Switch is winning in terms of sales due the handled feature that most of the console consumers have preferred during this quarantine time.
Imagine a family of 4 or 5 person’s with 2 TV at home. An Hybrid console can be very usefully in these situations.
And the games are more family friend and easy to enjoy playing with family.

The result is 10 years in developing FF13 Versus That became FF15 and FF7 Remake that was only 20% of the original and gamers wore deceived.
KH 14 years in the development and the result is huñm?
With so much, good titles in hand and they do always what we don't really want or care about.

The never ending story of a game requested for many fans almost for 20 years. Squarenix has became so bad in development and have lost so many consumer’s because of not earring fans demands. They have so many PS1 good titles that should be remaked instead of that crap o KH series... and they should’ve start FF7 development along time ago. The game will not be finished, that is what their decisions in the past tells us now. Hope they give up and sell the game rights to a proper company.
Nintendo success has been a rollercoaster. Makes no sense their decisions on some game development.
Maybe it is time for someone who really understands about gaming and what their game fans ( us clients and consumers ) want to be in charge. Nintendo is awesome but lack in consumer response, they just don’t listen. Love Nintendo but sad about the way they ignore us.
Never really felt any love for any Xbox console but they have more variety of games genre than PlayStation 3 and 4.
Sony is afraid of Microsoft’s new console success in which I believe it will have. Microsoft has been very clear about the console power and graphics and shown some games. Sony didn’t show nothing but technical specs that is hardware behind XS.
I believe that ps5 games are most of them delayed. A XS is will be more cheaper.
PlayStation is very good and have lots of good games but, Nintendo Switch that is hardware behind, have more fun games and with better stories than PS4. It is a joy to play Switch and PS4 is more of a graphic games with low interest and most are FPS.
Nintendo Switch is the fastest-selling console of all time.
So it is not about power is about joy in playing console games that Nintendo is far better.
Nintendo never wore on a racing for console power. Instead, they’re focus was always to develop games that truly entertains the players and fulfil the hype we raised every time before we press start button. Wii U was a failure in terms of sales but with great games. PlayStation 4 does not have 1st party games better than Nintendo and will never have, it is not about graphics it is about nostalgia. Nintendo switch will outsell Sony console in 2 years.
Chrono Cross is top 1 RPG of PS1, FF8 is very good with great and interesting story. I’m so hype to try this remastered version on switch. And as you said, it’s about preferences. I personally prefer FF7 as much FF8 and then FF9. But RPG core gamers should try FF6 cause it’s the best story despite the pixelated graphics.
Just wait and soon you will see what’s coming to switch. Be aware... Nintendo have always something in its sleeves tou surprise us all. It’s Mario 36 birthday and we will be presented with news that will leave us very excited about. Soon very soon...
Next will came a 10 years wait for the game be complete, and it will not be even close to the original in terms of story and exploration.
This game should not be even scored. It is not complete and it should not be on Stores. It’s graphically amazing but that’s not an excuse to deceive fans of the older version.
i doubt that most of does who bought this version will certainly not buy a 2nd part. Fans wore deceived with this version. Square Enix should ashamed.
Maybe it’s time for Capcom to learn with this independent developers How to create or develop a game with passion. A game company that is lost and is out of ideas, have nothing to offer than mediocre games.
Using just the same development system used in FF15 pocket edition they could remake FF5 and FF6 in less than a year and I think a lot of FF series fans would be very pleased.
As we all know, Nintendo has always something in sleeves to surprise fans.., saying that, I believe that they will show more unannounced games for this year that no one is talking or did referees about it. Even if more ports are coming it ain’t a bad thing, cause is fulfilling Switch library. I believe that another Zelda remaster will come and I cross my fingers to be A link to the past. I hope...
