@zizu Sony don't own but have publishing right for FFVII on console that's why it was only in PS2, PS VITA and PS3 console soon PS4. But Yes the deal carries over for remake.
PS4 doesn't support Xbox controller maybe when it release on PC which will atleast 6months to 1 year after PS4 release. So that a long wait.

Or remake or sequel for popular series. I remember they did similar poll last gen and FFVII was always popping up; Now we have remake. Also PS4 is easier to develop games so these game have better chance of arriving to PS4 than next PS console.
Both Fallout and SW will have great sales so it's win win for the games and sony as most multiplatform title do well in PS4 as it is worldwide Leader.

It's good that Sunset was commercially a failure as it lead Insomniac to return to Ratchet and Clank reboot for ps4. As i remember studio said before release of Sunset that their next project will solely depend on SS OD sales.
If it was successful they might have gone to work on sequel and remained exclusive. Now the future of franchise is Multi and they are back to tried and tested success R&C
