People need to take a lot at how Valve, as a company, is put together. Every single person in the company is equal. If they had ps3 development squad, they wouldn't have the same structure. Everyone at the company would have to get into ps3 development at the same time. That would be expensive for a whole company.

Just last weekend me and 3 friends did the vidmaster challenge to work toward Recon. It took us 2 days. It was so much fun. I would have never tried that if that achievement wasn't there.
