Besides the depth of field and the 2 camera lenses, alongside the ir light, you're almost correct.
The 32 gigs comes out to be roughly 30. That is, at least, 4 full size games with room to spare. That is plenty. Also, yes, it does come standard with 4 gigs.
How is it a necessity when you can have 32 gigs of flash memory? Heck it come with 4 gigs.
