Well first of all they are rumors. Well founded rumors!
It makes sense since it's a new architecture plus a die shrink so double the Cuda cores from the high end Titan to GTX880/Titan 2 "GK110/GM100" just like Kepler's architecture was to Fermi!

Maxwell comes out in a few month's and will have Titan like performance cards for under $300!

I think what they mean is over all efficiency compared to consoles? Which is great! This is one thing consoles have over PC because of them being closed systems.

I wasn't exactly "ranting" but I was stating that all games should try improving there animations and physics instead other graphical enhancements and I guarantee that those improvement will feel much more next gen compared to last!
By the way I don't really care about Extreme realism that much that's why I like the Bad company games more then the actually main games. "Can't wait for Bad Company 3"

true but for a two second animation it could have been done? And no I'm not hating I still like battlefield over call of duty any day!
This not being being included in the Next Generation is not acceptable!
Animations is one of the most important things in a game and can make it from being quite immersive to frankly just boring.
This card isn't worth it....
Nvidia Maxwell comes out in March so anybody wanting a real upgrade should wait till then. You could get away with anything from GTX 680 equivalent to a GTX 780 for under 300$!

GTX 860ti = GTX 780 - $300 - $350
GTX 870 and GTX 880 would be 40% - 50% increase over Titan! Price could be anywhere from $500 to $750 accordingly?

This is going to be a very Ho Hum update! This card will not be all that great compared to what's already offered unless it's a titan rebrand for $500? "Doubt it though!" Realistically to beat or match an AMD r9 290x they will have to have a fully unlocked Titan and even then I doubt it!
My money right now is on GTX Maxwell which comes out in about 5 month's after this card and that's where you'll see big performance gains with most likely a new ...
