I hope they don't mean we will see Garret's wang...

Yep, that's about right. Same discount whether you are a Gold Member or not.
Digital wont take off until they have deals on digital content. Xbox, ps, and ninty all have the same price on digital as physical copies. Which makes no sense at a when you factor in manufacturing costs. Plus having new games top out at 15gb or so and then adding 12gb patch really eats up space. 500gb just won't cut anymore.
Steam is a perfect example of digital media done right. They have cheap games and lots of them. Even if the games are $2.00, since there is an unlimited sup...
Its already happening Aces. Gamers are waiting for a price drop or new platform, and Nintendo doesn't want to take any more losses on Wii U by dropping the price. There is a Lord of the Flies mentality around gamers. We just circle and pick on whoever is down. This week is Nintendo, next week Xbox, after that Steambox.
I am currently playing this gem on my crappy laptop in my office. Those were the days hey? Thank god for good emulators or the experience may be forgotten. I hope to see my kids play this gem someday.
The thing I don't understand about the Robocop Reboot is why is he totally encapsulated in his suit except for one hand? I mean a bionic hand would probably be a lot stronger and whatnot, plus its a vulnerable point. What up Hollywood?
Ive never had a discount for being a member, but they do have monthly deals on XBL. Their GwG offerings have ranged from XBL games to full retail games. But the retail games are usually dusted off oldies that people have played up and down.
Im no hater, but it is what it is....
I hope that they can do the same with X1 in the near future as well because their GwG is severely lacking.
My first console game was Super Mario bros. I played it at my buddy's house when I was 8. Little did I know how quickly it would become an obsession.
ME3 was more expensive as was Rayman legends and deus ex. Nintendo was late releasing those games as well which doesn't help.
I never said that Nintendo was present at last E3. I said that this year they NEED that forum. I am with you 100% about Nintendo direct. It doesn't hit enough people. E3 already generates lots of buzz, and Nintendo needs to capitalize in it.
I can deal with another dragon quest for sure. But I would LOVE a new final fantasy tactics advance. That game ate up over 100 hours of my life, and I would have it any other way.
I think it will be interesting to revisit this topic in another, say 6 months. By then super smash bros and Mariokart will have dropped, and E3 would be over. Nintendo should use E3 as a forum to reach out to gamers and clarify their vision. Ditching the console is not an option. Another console is at least a few years out, so Nintendo will be in it for the long haul.
This years E3 will be massive. All eyes will be watching what Nintendo will do to turn around the Wii U, what Steam OS and the Steambox is all about, and all the new PS4 and Xbox releases. I will be watching with a vested interest, to be sure.
I clock more hours on my 3DS than any other console or PC. I don't know if I could handle it if 2014 is better than 2013. Last year was a great one for 3DS games.
Extremely special edition comes with an official Geralt hair elastic.
KI is good, but I don't care for the payment model so I only play with free Characters.
I didn't really care for Dead Rising 2 because of the story and characters, but they really nailed it in the 3rd one. Nice and gritty.
And Its too bad about Forza, there was a few people that didn't care for the track selection, but I like it.
If anything, the biggest disappointment of 2013 was the intrusion of MicroTransactions on consoles. Nobody ...
Am I the only one that misses Jet Force Gemini? It is a damn shame nobody has done anything with that IP.
I heard Ninty renewed the Trademark for Eternal Darkness, so there may be hope yet for that sequel. I completely agree that game was something special.
I think it is a little early for Aliens Isolation to be included in the Golden Age of survival horror. I will wait for more gameplay vids before hailing Isolation.
Im glad these games have come around again. I miss the old days of RE 1 and 2, and I would love an experience to bring that back.
Come on guy, ryse was supposed be on 360, then kinect, and finally on X1. It was a rollercoaster to say the least. The team behind thief also made deus ex which was a great game. I wouldn't compare those 2 games anyways.
