I wouldnt doubt if sony wasnt able to afford production cost for these games and had to drop them. It makes sense since they are already losing tons of cash from ps3 hardware. And now they have to lower the cost which i think sony is currently unable to financially do so. Selling the slim ps3's at 299 is a huge loss for sony considering how much they cost to produce. It seems they had no choice but to act quickly in desperation in order to keep up with the other console's this generation, but...

The way i see it, This sony price cut is out of desperation. If sony dont get their act up they might end up like the dreamcast.

Unless Blu-ray starts getting cheaper the market isnt going to have a choice but to move on. People will start looking for alternative options for their High defenition media. Microsoft has already proved that Digital Download is the way to go, With millions downloading movies, music, and games EVERY DAY. Although I am a Ps3 owner i must say blu-ray prices are dissapointing. 39.99 - 49.99 for a standard Blu-ray movie is insane and reminds me of the horibble ps3 prices (which arnt going down a...

At least the then the gaming community can see which fanbase is more loyal regardless of price increase. Seriously Price doesnt matter, its about quality.
My friend played all 4 metal gear solid's and said although they were good they are mediocre at best. Seriously there is only so much a single person can do. How many times has snake saved the world? and people still believe those games are realistic, pffft. The only appealing thing i see in mgs4 are the graphics and true gamers know graphics arnt everything.

Xbox's cost has been at $199 for a long time now. Ps3 is still struggling at catching up with sales. Wow....just Wow.
