At least one major company....social games are cancer and an even more audacious rip-off than the DLC concept.
Uhm, so Bethesda got removed? Didn't Pete Hines confirm a PS4 project during the event (via Twitter)?
I laughed once. It was horrible.
I honestly wouldn't care in the slightest if they move away from consoles. F2P is cancer, and if they support this destructive model, they can go make facebook games or something where the F2P customers are ready and willing to throw away their money.
I used to be proud there was such a prominent studio in Germany...
You asked a dev who recently finished a PS3 project if he would give up his PS3? What kind of an answer would you expect?
Why would they put "From the makers of Assassin's Creed" in the trailer of an Assassin's Creed game? Geez...
Well, that's alright I guess. Pull all development studios from the USA and move them to Europe or something. If the US don't want the HUGE profits from the videogame industry, others will gladly take it. Keep your automatic rifles and play around with that while banning videogames. Just like China (concerning the ban).
I see the tendencies too, and I'm a bit worried also. However, right now I'm still confident this model, which is cancer to gaming, will not become too popular.
The day Pay 2 Win aka "Free to Play" will truly take over gaming, will be my last day as a gamer. And I'm a gamer for 16 years now.
Wow...article's only 11 months old. And from Kotaku. N4G pls
Exactly. I wouldn't consider it a comeback. Everyone knew those titles are on their way and I never had a thought about Nintendo "leaving" their spot alongside their 2 competitors.
True that. I'm really satisfied with the news they delivered even though it was all quite vague. Actually I wish more developers would announce their stuff earlier on. By announcing I mean just confirming that the project exists and that it's gonna happen some time. I mean, when it's Nintendo we're talking about, of course they will get a new Zelda/Mario/Metroid/Smash Bros going at some point. So why not confirming it soon? Well, I can handle waiting. I guess the industry know...

I'm not too sure about the separation of WiiU/3DS at this point. You all know about the restructuring at Nintendo which could be an indicator for that game too. Well, I guess they won't just copy a clone of their own game and do what PS AllStars did, but I see a cross-play feature coming there, even if it's just a small one.
Cel-shading is fine with me, but my personal preference is different. I LOVED the design in Twilight princess. I think that dark, gloomy atmosphere really fits the franchise. From the visual perspective, Twilight Princess images come to my mind first, when I hear the word Zelda (along with images from OoT and MM).
How is that launch line-up considered bad? I don't think it's bad at all. There were no launch line-ups which actually were good enough for core gamers. Core titles tend to arrive at least half a year after launch and there's good reason to it. By the way, the fact that there was a Zelda game in Wii's launch is more or less luck. It was supposed to be a Gamecube title.
Well, that looks a bit ridiculous to me tbh...I mean we have Kinect, so why would anyone bother strapping those things to arms and legs...
Most certainly we will see very interesting releases in Q3/Q4 of which we just don't know yet. Nintendo surely knows about its situation and they won't let 2013 pass without a big bang at some point.
No, I disagree with that. It is pretty much impossible that the tech in the current consoles are almost as good as next-gen. Electronics evolved crazy fast and what probably has changed the most is the architecture of the hardware. See GPGPUs and such. Those things make the difference in power. And of course, the launch titles and also the titles in the whole first year after launch will very much look like 360 and PS3 games. That's a natural thing. I don't know if you remember, but t...
I don't know if you noticed, but they already made a remake of Red/Green...
Wow, only 3 months late.
