I'm not calling you a liar but something doesn't seem to add up with your story. For you to have platinumed that game the first time through in only 7.5 hours meant you would have had to have played it on hard mode, explored all the areas in the game to find all the hidden items and secret documents and would have died very few times (which seems very unlikely to me seeing that some parts of that game are very hard even on normal). I agree, I did come across as too harsh. It's just that it pisses me off the way the gaming media writes. It's just a total lack of respect for their audience. You would think that these guys would know better. They are the ones who fan the flame wars and then turn around and criticize the gamers for fighting it. However I agree, I probably should have been less venomous in my criticism. Will do better next time.

As people have been saying time and time again, there won't be any double and triple sales from faulty consoles to boost the xbox numbers this gen. This is probably what the sales figures probably were like last gen without the RROD additional sales. Add to that the people who have been turned off of the xbox brand completely for what microsoft tried to do at the beginning of this gen and you have this lead that will probably never go away.
