I don't see anyone believing that this was a mistake. This is just DF being caught and now trying to do a 180 like their favorite engineers.
The ps4 obviously looks better but no one can say that the xbox one looks bad, i'm actually impressed.
Like I keep saying, all these video comparisons aren't going to stop people from enjoying the games on what ever system they choose to buy.

Know what I think, I think this is the result of companies making games to cater for DRM on the consoles.
Remember, the xbox had mandatory installs and who knows, it was probably the same with the ps4 but then sony decided against going through with the DRM and caused total chaos for the devs and the xbox one.
Those games were probably too far into development to change it at that point so now we have the first slew of games having ridiculous install sizes. ...
I gotta hand it to rich, He's done something that I never dreamed was possible. He got both ps4 and xbox fans to come together in a post on n4g and unite in agreeing with each other on one thing, he's a moron.
I'm not defending the guy here but I can understand why some people would believe him. I'm currently subscribed to his channel, have been for a very long time, but for the past couple of months I've been wondering weather to unsubscribe or not (but that's a story for another time).

I agree with you on this. I'm not saying they didn't have it, I don't know but if they did (which I believe is possible) they have still earned my respect more than microsoft because they didn't wait to see preorder numbers before they decided to remove it, they removed it because their customers were against it.
Microsoft went about this all wrong. The way sony handled it (again, if that drm thing is true) showed them in a positive light and a lot more custom...

Those are not live demos, those are videos. The ps4 ui has been shown live in videos where you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was running on a ps4. Those xbox ui in those videos you linked could have been running on a pc for all you know.

Google is probably seeing the massive increase in user uploads and probably wants piece of the pie. I don't know if that is unfair though seeing as their servers will probably have to triple to handle all that new video load.

Lets clear the air on this issue right now. On both occasions when the ps4 overheated they were placed in closed boxes without proper ventilation and on both occasions it was reported that when the boxes were opened and the ps4 was allowed to breathe properly it returned to normal functionality.
This is the problem right there. it appears that most of the xbox issues are hardware related while most of the ps4 issues are software related. I don'...
I've never really bashed the xbox one per se, my annoyance has always been with microsoft not the device itself but i'm beginning to think there may be a problem with the xbox one being a next gen device.
Although I don't really have an issue with the 720p thing it's becoming more and more clearer that microsoft designed this thing to be an all in one entertainment device first and a games console third.

if a multiplayer game can use voice commands and it's implemented for the kinect why would the devs not implement it also for the ps eye seeing that it also has voice commands ? Exactly how does that spell doom for the ps eye?
