Depends on which system yo support.
I think this is a brilliant service but should be kept as an option, this should never become the standard. I honestly don't think that this will ever become a standard.
Just like with the original xbox one vision, these types of devices and services will alienate too many of the gaming community.
Regardless of how advanced we get with the internet service worldwide, there will always be a lot of gamers who either don't have internet or whose intern...
"There was a time not to long ago when everyone laughed and made fun of Microsoft for even mentioning the CLOUD, now Sony come to surface with there version and it the best thing since sliced bread."
What the hell are you talking about??? Microsoft only mentioned the 300,000 servers last year at the xbox reveal, sony bought gaikai since 2012. Get your facts straight.
Really looking forward to it but call me old fashion, I want my consoles. It's just something about having a dedicated box that does not rely on an internet connection to play a single player campaign.
I'm fearful of any gaming service or device that stops me from playing my games if I loose my internet connection. Still, this service looks awesome and I'll definitely be getting it day one.
Personally, as a ps+ member, not more than 15 bucks a month. I'm hoping $10 but I'm thinking that's just wishful thinking. Or probably a $25-$30 a year subscription if you have ps+
C'mon, let's be honest. Sony did loose focus in the ps3 era. Even ps4 creator mark cerney admitted it in that keynote he gave.
They got cocky and almost sank themselves with the design of the ps3. Don't get me wrong I think it's a fantastic machine but their arrogance almost cost them the war.
At the end of the day though, because of that experience, we have the ps4 today. A lesson well learnt.
As hard as this article is to accept, it is completely right. No console manufacturer owes us that. Most electronic devices have never had this feature, yet we've come to expect it with gaming consoles.
I would love it if they all did but to say they owe us that is unwarranted. A lot of software for pc's are not backward compatible with older operating systems. That's just how technology goes. As new tech comes along the old gets fazed out.

7 reasons you should be worried about journalists who write articles like this:
1: Their whole goal is to spread FUD.
2: They write articles without searching the facts.
3: They actually confuse weak minded individuals who generally can't think for themselves.
4: When you click on their articles and give them views it usually means you can expect more trash articles in the future.
5:A lot of them get paid...
"The trouble the Xbox One is going to have is catching up to Sony's momentum in the territories they have yet to enter."
I got news for you Mr. Adam Marcus, they need to catch up to sony in the territories that they both launched in first before they even think about the ones they haven't launched in as yet. Or have you conveniently forgotten sony is leading in the USA and UK and practically every other territory Microsoft is in?
@GUTZnPAPERCUTZ
Then let me add to you being correct also.
@dedicatedtogamers
Very good and interesting point. It's just human nature I guess. People will always try to justify their preferences even if it means being completely unreasonable and one sided.
@Prime157
Please stop posting those factual accounts of your first hand experiences, they paint too clearly a picture of the current demand of the ps4.
Some may prefer you make up or embellish the facts a little to paint a more skewed view of equal demand and sale of said systems.
O.T. Is it possible for you to say how much of each system your store has sold already?
@Pogmathoin
It really makes me laugh when people like you who have both systems want to play the neutral card and make it look like you're the clearheaded one for owning both systems. Let me guess real gamers own both systems right?
O.T. If you read my post, and judging from your post I have to assume you either did and did not understand or you didn't and assumed on what you thought I wrote, you would have understood what my point was.
@nukeitall
It boggles my mind how incapable your mind is at comprehending any logic that does not make microsoft the lord of all consoles or software in your world. Please uninstall the windows 2000 software your brain is using and try to install linux, you'll see the world a lot clearer.
O.T. Your point is only valid if microsoft is leading in sales in countries that they are both selling. That would mean that microsoft sold and supplied more and therefo...
It boggles my mind why so many of these journalists fail to mention in their articles that you can still find lots of xbox ones sitting on store shelves in numerous stores around the world while the ps4 is almost impossible to find.
Does this not show which one has the bigger demand? Or am I missing something?
I need buttons. That is just how I feel about it. I know a lot of people are gonna argue the tech thing and about future technology and about it being something different and giving it a chance, and I agree with all those points but for me it seems too much like playing a game on a touch screen. I've never been able to get used to that. My personal opinion, I need physical buttons.
I don't think I've ever read a more damage controlling pack of sh!t article in my life.
I didn't wait for it to be over, I placed my order the second they announced the price.
It actually was a decent conference, just not for the gaming crowd.
The ps4 light is orange in standby not white.
The one that I can afford without having to sell my kidneys.
