Every company has a standard to keep and individuals who do not live up to that standard will be let go. Yes it is people's livelihoods but at the end of the day when you accept a job, when you decide to work for a company, you do so with the knowledge that you need to produce for that company. For me it was the 8 player co-op in resistance 2, I have never found another co-op player as good as that ever. A lot of people, myself included, were really pissed that they took that out of part 3. It didn't make any sense because up to a couple of months ago you couldn't find anyone on the online multiplayer for the others but there were still a lot of people playing that online co-op in part 2.

Although you are absolutely right with what you said I have issues with any company that asks the public to beta test OS updates and patches.
No company should be willing to put their customers at risk like that, regardless of who the company is. Microsoft are the ones making and developing these systems, why don't they let microsoft staff members do the beta testing and if their system is damaged they could replace it for them.

I think you have absolutely no understanding of how different console and pc back end infrastructures work. You CANNOT compare the servers for the ps4 and xbone systems with the ones you have on pc's.
