There are some other differences in the GPUs like how the PS4 has more shaders (768 vs 1152), more ROPS (16 VS 32) and more texture mapping units (48 vs 72) so there are more advantages for the PS4 than just the clock speed. There's also the big bandwidth difference as well.

Gears at the time of its release was really the first game to show what the Xbox 360 was capable of. Hopefully Gears 4 will really show of what the Xbox One can really do.

Good point, I completely forgot about Forza. That will defiantly see an improvement and Horizon 2 already looked amazing.

It's pretty amazing what people can do with old consoles. Really cool that people are still making games for them.
Yeah, they slapped Zelda on it but in a good way that makes fans of both series happy. The games actually pretty fun and I like the idea of Nintendo mixing franchises like this.

DX 12 might help the Xbox more than we originally thought. I wounder if the PS4 will have an API update for Open GL that helps optimization and adds some of the same features as DX 12? I can see both consoles jumping higher in quality just like we saw with the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Yep, and all of the DLC isn't even out yet. The DLC just adds to an already great and complete game, the way DLC should be.
Cool! I love it when games add little extras like this (like the Captain Qwark game for Ratchet and Clank). Maybe you'll unlock something good for playing through it.
None of them are boring, they just require you to invest a lot of time into them and start out relatively slow. Call of Duty is the exception on this list and personally I get bored after finishing the campaign. Mincraft requires a little more creativity than the others as well.
Well, people have complained that Nintendo hasn't have enough mature games in the past. This is about as mature you can get. :/

This is cool. These guys are already working on a new version of Starfox 2 on SNES so I wounder what other unreleased games they'll give an unofficial release.
Gotta say, I'm digging all these games for Vita getting 1080p PS4 versions. And I can still play them on my Vita with remote play.

Depends. Games that are already complete packages that get DLC can be great (just look at Mario Kart). But when a game has DLC that's on disk or essential to the story or even if its stupid overpriced maps then it becomes a problem.
Their greed will just screw them over and less people will buy the game. I for one am waiting for some sort of complete edition before I buy it.

I really look forward to the next Doom but it's gonna be a reboot? I thought Doom 4 was going to be a remake of Doom 2 the same way Doom 3 was a remake of Doom 1?
