The way gamers are overhyping the service gives me that sense that it will happen.

PSNow, in my honest opinion is BAD for gaming. Why? Because were going to be paying a lot of money for games that we technically dont own, not only that but PSNOW requires an internet connection (Paywall), so that means we have to pay for internet and PSNOW to play our games, and if PSNow ever gets discontinued, were FUCKED.

PlayStation Now is targeting casual gamers, those type of gamers that listen to lil wayne, wear hipster glasses & play COD all day. PSNOW will ruin gaming if sony forces us to use it in the future.

@Snookiegamer Its not a rental service if your paying $40 for a cloud game. ITS A SCAM.

Ps+ 49.99-Free digital games,i have no problem with that, but PSNOW is a expensive rental service that relies on the internet, which means you have to be paying for 2 services to play your games, Internet service & cloud service, what happens when i cant afford to pay for internet anymore? Can i still play my cloud games? NO. What about my digitally downloaded games on the HDD? YES. If you think about it, theres a paywall , an expensive one. So if this service becomes relevant, it is like...

I hope not. I dont want ONLIVE 2.0 on my vita.

4418d ago 0 agree10 disagreeView comment

Its pointless if its on the CLOUD, thats one of the reasons why XboxOne Isn't selling so well, its because of its DRM and Microsofts main focus (TEH CLOUDZEh), hows ONLIVE? Oh wait, everyone forgot about that cloud service didnt they? Try playing those playstation games when the cloud is down.

People are overhyping the SHIT out of this service, and i love sony. This youth is un-educated.

4418d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

Yep, because US consumers are dumb enough to purchase something that they wont own.

AMEN.

Sony is shooting themselves in the foot if they're library of games are playable through all devices, but if its through sony products like a sony tablet, sony bravia, then thats okay.

The idiot uses the same name lol.

It better be less than 20$, im already buying games for 60$ PS+ for 50$, custom soundtracks 5$ and now this. I work for my $.

4428d ago 8 agree0 disagreeView comment

No it wont, it bothers me how gamers are getting exited over this, let me explain to you why this won't work, paying out of pocket monthly/yearly for what? To stream old games that you have to re purchase? To play games on a tablet wthout buttons? What if the service discontinues? Will you be able to play your games then? Same thing goes for digital downloads, its like a rental service. I prefer sony products. But this service is just bs if its not free for ps+ users.

4428d ago 9 agree11 disagreeView comment

Thats actually the smart way to play your old games, there is a handfull of idiot gamers that are willing to pay YEARLY out of pocket to play something they already purchased a decade ago.

Thats what im saying, now i have 3 services from sony alone that im going to be paying for, PS+ For online play (50$), to listen to my custom soundtracks (5$) and NOW this. What is sony trying to pull? Whatever it is, it stinks. Custom soundtracks used to be free along with the online. Microtransactions are taking over as well, remember when dlc used to be free? I might just quit.
