my friend is a game designer, and he says what you say. the unreal 3 ungine is startign to hit its limits. HE even told me about how gears 2 is faking its "large enviorment full scale war" feel that Cliff promised and didnt deliver on.

sales will be hard to tell right now, cause by that point there will be alot more installed base for PS3 and 360. or one system will start to tank by then. who knows. graphic wise though i do think god of war 3 will look better just cause all unreal engine games look exactly alike. And i heard rumors that god of war 3 good be using a tweaked killzone 2 engine.
YES!!!! thank you for sayign this, i have been sayign it for ever. The unreal engine at this point is just used cause all teh game devs know it liek the back of there hand and it loooks good so they can bang out games. But for godsake, its hittign its prime, all the games look teh same. be innovative for god sake, spend some money and coem up with a new engine. Gears 3 will look and play exactly like gears 2 unless they start from scratch. God of war 3, is gonna be a HUUUUUUUUGGG...
no they said god of war 3 end of 2009 but most likely 2010. They arent gonna release that game till its 200% done
Casue there is gonan be a huge jump from God of war 2 to 3. the last remembrance peopel have of god of war is on the PS2. God of war this is gonna be on a totally new engine so when gamers get the first next gen god of war is gonna blow peoples heads off.
Gears on the other hand.... it has been on next gen for 2 versions now. You have to admit there was not a huge jump from gears 1 to gears 2, while they are both great games, there is little difference in gameplay and grap...
I have been saying that for a year now. all the xbox has is halo and gears, exclusive wise. they are good games (well gears is, halo sucks) but come on, microsoft relies on these franchises.
they said the final build will be released this month but first its gonna roll out as a beta. Its prolly the final stress test thast why they are releasing it in the middle of the month, to see how it runs for a week or so, then if all is good release it as a final build before january 1st.

...your an moron. They arent gonna let you install onto the hard drive and play with out the disc so u dont bring the game over your friends houses and give them a free game. You still ah eto do it on PC games 2 adn you always install those games to the hard drives.
