I know this sounds crazy, but besides from all the metal gear games being awesome just from the villains alone. capcom made Okami, Viewtiful Joe, P.N.03, God Hand.. None of those games caught on but Okami and the rest had cult/fan followings after that. But Viewtiful Joe, P.N.03 and God Hand spawned other games with just different titles. Capcom knew people liked 'God Hand' so they just brought out 'Asura's Wrath'. So see, there is hope that these game companies want to make different games but in the same genre/theme.
So which is it? Handhelds aren't worth buying? Yet, you have people like this dude saying consoles are dying and handheld devices are taking over. I just saw a video of a psvita running Left4Dead the other day. It's only time until people GET THE BIG PICTURE and really see.
I agree with the list 100%. As much as I love Final Fantasy..it's had it's time. square-enix just needs to make RPGs without the Final Fantasy name. Same with all those other games they mentioned. This new gen of gamers don't know jack from **** and the gen. that grew up through the Dreamcast/Gamecube/Ps2 era are all anti-japanese games because they're too 'over the top'. so all you get is this culture playing open world shooters talking **** over mics. Me pesonally, I can't wait for 'Devil's Third' and 'Anarchy Reigns' unlike shooters, those are actual 'Action' games that will be online and you're not just 'shooting'.
Nintendo basically came out with the idea for the controller with the NES, then the super nintendo controller was just the playstation controller because that was supposed to be a joint system. Another rant article fueled by irrational hatred because a company isn't giving something away for free or putting out games. SONY is always doing something wrong, yet their online is free, they give away free games GALORE to PSplus members. I'll wouldn't mind getting a VITA because of cool games like Soul Sacrifice.

You know what you're writing about. I saw this one guy write about RE6's feature of not being able to upgrade weapons. He was like "i'm sick of just going into a corner spamming weapons!" I was like "yup, you know what's up". No upgrading weapons just took away the little RPG aspect of the game. I just laugh at how badly Capcom is failing listening to all these people, fking up their games! Oh well...
Capcom of Japan really needs to stop letting the 'WEST' influence how they produce/develop games. Bionic Commando failed, They canceled Strider, no one really cares for the new Devil May Cry and now Resident Evil 6 is showing features that only appeal to 'western gamers' and only the 'real gamers' like us only see it! Oh well, I hope all these companies stop listening to people on the internet because they're doing nothing but losing money.

I laugh at how we pay money for stuff that we unlocked for free during the Gamecube/PS2 era. Now we pay for unlockable content. Street Fighter X Tekken was cool though and gave away Megaman and Pac-Man free..so at least you see some hope out there. And the PSplus members get free games up the ying yang like every week. Because we have encouraged digital media so much, they (the people in power) have now figured/see that we are literally paying for stuff we already own on disc. Therefore, each gen. disc reading consoles will disappear and we will be 100% digital. Now, enter hell. We will be paying a fee or monthly fee for everything we play with these 100% digital consoles. And we'll probably need an internet connection to even play anything on the console. Now, do you need to pay for an internet connect...
