I love a major launch like this, while I wont be getting a PS3 until after my house is finished, I still wanted to drive by my neighborhood gamestop to see all the crazyness.
This is the same gamestop I waited in line at Midnight for the launch of both Halo2 and the 360. To my suprise it was CLOSED!!
It was right next to Wal-mart so I drove by and didnt see any lines, although they would probably be waiting inside.
Best Buy had no lines either. ...
I knew the PS3 would have good games.
I was getting a little curious about all these long lines I hear about, so I decided to drive by Gamestop at midnight, just to see all the campers.
To my suprise the store was closed. This is the same store I went to for the midnight launch of both Halo2 and the 360.
How many did North America actually get??
I think it is for sending messages through the dashboard, not when you are playing. I would rather just tell the guy I just owned instead of texting it to him.
But typing out a message in the dashboard to send is a pain sometimes, so it would probably be used there.
I heard MS is bringing out a wireless keyboard and mouse for the 360 anyways so this probably wont be needed.
I hear they are both wireless too!
But I dont think they will give him a PS3, probably just a gift certificate. Had a friend get hurt.
If you ducked and then immediately stood up, you might accidentally get the menu, but I think it will be turned off during gameplay, maybe activated when in a menu or something.
I wouldnt wory about that, I am sure they have thought of something.

People will be playing alot of PS2 games on their shiny new PS3's.
So BC will be important for the PS3, if you want to play the good games.

The reason why they bashed him is because they played the game and he hadn't. Did you hear me? We all played the game, thought it was great, and a guy from EA who has NOT played the game bashed it.

I get the same message, but only when trying to play ranked, unranked works just fine, so I still get to play, just not ranked.
I find you have to find a room with only a couple of people in it, dont go for the 7 or 6 rooms, by the time you connect, it will be full. Go to a small number room, and when you connect, you will see alot more people are actually in there.

I hope the gameplay is where its at, because this looks like a PS1 game.
But I remember when the 360 launched, all I got was COD2, and PGR3. And I was totally blown away.
For first time next-genners, they could get COD3 and RR7. And would have the same experience I did, and be totally blown away.
You have to remember, they are just coming fresh off a PS2, so anything they play will be great to them. I kinda envy that.
But if left up to quantum mechanics only, I would say the kitten will be alive. It maybe a little shook up, and a little disoriented, but it will be alive.
But who knows the cat could have died, or could have mutated into a beast. Which choice will end up in our dimension? It is a choice isnt it?
