I've been reading a lot on this one, both good and bad. I still don't know where I stand on it especially with such a crowded release schedule.
I feel like this industry's come such a long way and into the main stream to have these porn stars bump it back down a few notches. It's terrible.

So far Metacritic is at 90 which is pretty nuts! 10 out of 10 seems right on the money.

Here's the reality of it. If they purchased the game (which is readily available now in Mom and Pop stores all over NYC as well as across the county, then they are not legally bound to any embargo. At all.

No what it's saying is that if you want to play Online with another person, even if they have a PSN account and it's split screen they too have to pay $10 bucks to go online with you.
On one PS3? C'mon dude, that's just crazy. The way Online Passes work is that it looks for a file on the actual system's HDD and it activates the online portion of the game. Whether it's one account or not, it's still just one HDD. This is just wrong.
read the post, it's not about the inclusion of Online Pass. It's worse than that.
Nothing wrong with a little friendly compition, except when one of the companies can care less.
It really isn't up to the devs at all. They pretty give up creative control as to how the game is treated by the publisher in terms of marketing and pricing.

I have and it's pretty sweet. Nintendo is keeping specs a secret because they don't people to focus on that as I'm sure what ever is in there will be a joke compared to what will be in Sony and Microsoft's next gen consoles.

LOL at this this guy, he said at "least 100k units." If you're going to write previews and such, do some homework and get some statistics. Does he not know that (american) football is the highest grossing sport in the United States? Or that Madden sells better than probably every game in his entire library (except for COD)?
