PVP is not bad, it's just not Halo. Imagine playing Halo, except that you don't have overshields, but you do have health. That's Destiny - essentially. It's the same number of bullets, but with varied weapons to learn and equip, while not picking them up from the environment.
My suggestion: Petition your government for change. Internet caps don't make sense in a Netflix generation, and with 4K resolution around the corner, internet will be the only way for the resolution to be possible until the next-generation of disk arrives.
I completely agree. Digital distribution doesn't have shipping costs, there is no physical retailer, so why are we paying the extra 10% markup?
I think that refunding digital games should be at a reduced value, like with trade-in stores, because the titles can easily be duplicated and/or played quickly then refunded.
That's the point of title pre-loading. You're not waiting on the download, because it downloaded 2 days before launch. It's pretty exciting stuff.
With thousands of staff members, there's no way that's happening. They just sap ideas off of other characters.
Having played Destiny, the hype is real.
I don't know what to do with my time now outside of Destiny - it's that good.
Chef - Alpha is the state of a game that is incomplete. Beta is the state of a title that has all of it's elements completed for version 1.0, but needs tested for stability and glitches. This game isn't finished in production, and you can see that in the "Tower" and "Old Russia" levels. Interactive NPC robots in "Tower" are all meant to show you the map - only a few do. In Old Russia, the world is cut in half so that you can't compete beyond level 8, ...
I haven't had this much fun playing a game - any game, since Modern Warfare 1.
I'm so freaking excited for the next Mortal Kombat. Setting it 25 years in the future is a crazy idea though. Is this an old-ass Sonya Blade? Grey haired Goro?
It's perfect for a kid's movie. I'm stoked.
As an editor - I completely tabbed away from the presentation to write while this was on the screen.
I'm sure they'll figure out who did it and arrest the guy. Her Twitch stream is down, but likely for investigative purposes.
It looks beautiful!
Holy cow. What a thing to catch on stream.
The game is free. If it looks like PS3 graphics, and it's made to cross-platform with PC, it will just look like your average DayZ game. Optimization will come, and I'm sure they will show something prettier today.
It may well be cross-play like Final Fantasy is.
Basically, none of the subsidiaries of Sony own subsidiaries of Sony. Everything just turned into Sony Networked Entertainment of America, or Japan some time last year.
The article says, "Published by SOE," not developed.
I'll be taking vacation for this, and we're using it for our Extra Life campaign. 24 hours of Destiny seems like an easy thing to do.
