Please, do me a favour and don't buy this game. If you're stupid enough to debate cars in a game called Grand Theft Auto then you really did miss the mark on the game. It's not about who can speedrun to the objective, flying over buildings, skating pipelines and what have you. For me it'll be the journey. Take in the scenary as I cruise by slowly on an orange glowed afternoon.

Agreed. Battlefield 3 for two weeks, then Skyrim until January. Then back to Battlefield with AC:R, Uncharted 3 and Arkam City (PC). Then when march roles around, I'll find a new job and regain my social life.
That said, if I fall into the MMO SWTOR, I may be busy till 2012. Joy :D!
Not me, I played it because I enjoyed the story and the characters. If I ever went off and just randomly beat the shit out of people it would only be on short occasion. From the videos I've seen on this however, there is no story. It's just simple, go out, kick someone in the nuts, shotgun a sucker, drop kick a ho, blow people up with huge fists, knick a car, crash it, then call in the air strikes.
If the game had some actual focus on story, or I'd seen one scrap ...
Looking back at Saints Row 1 now, and imagining their future games at the time, this wasn't what I expected. They've obviously gone off the deep end in to "funnyvill" where everything has to be a big joke. Making the game, one big joke. Litteraly, the game is just one big joke.

I wish people would stop crying over Morrowind. Its not Morrowind 2 and it probably never will be, it's a different game, take it as it is or go with Dark Souls.

Erm, just to clarify, at what point did I say better graphics and engines make a better game? I was just stating that it was a very poorly conceived marketing scheme, which it is.

It will be pretty hilarious when the greatest selling game of all time, that shatters all kinds of records which will be probably never be beaten, gets rated no more than 8 out of 10. Anyone that rates it higher, is lying to themselves, and the world.
