Thats because America doesn't account for the entire gaming industry..
Europe is the biggest market where the PS3 generally sells more multi-plat games than the 360
I didn't know that selling 40 million PSP was a flop...the PSP just outsold all handhelds and consoles combined in Japan this week...
and Sony has made alot of great games for the PSP it's the users that are just buying the PSP for Homebrew instead of supporting the devs that are making the PSP look bad
MGS4 did well and moved alot of systems also still think Sony should have continued the bundle until the 160GB was released ..
Now lets see what LBP can do for Sony...

I really dont see what MS can do next year that can compete with Sony's Lineup unless they go sneaking around again trying to buy out more PS3 exclusives...
I remember alot of ppl use to say the PSP is dying then FF:Tatics came along and since then PSP sales have exploded...so I laugh at ppl who are counting out the PS3 in the end it will sell more than the 360....
Sony does make profits off there softwares check the facts majority of there first and second party games are million sellers

if it was 2007 then you could have said the PS3 needs more games come on dude the PS3 has alot of great games and im sure you haven't played half of them yet
and I actually love the PSN it's getting better every month so I can't complain...
it would be nice if the could slash $50-100 of the PS3 and start advertising more though
You do realise thats the PSP is Sony's 1st handheld and it has 40 million PSP's which is quite impressive they have taken a a huge chunk of the handheld market share and be aware that 80 million ppl has really bought a DS look how many iterations of the DS they're on the market..
as for the PS3 I think it's still a lil too expensive and it lacks the software that Japanese buyers are really interested in....but in the coming weeks im sure the 360 will be back to where it was.......

I was just about to agree with ur comment until you said MGS4 disapointed you , it's one of the best games i've played in years and so far the best game i've played all year....
I must agree I had a good little laugh when I saw the headline...
but this is getting ridiculous im guessing 2morrow RROM2 will get a 2.5 user score and Fable 2 will have a 1.5.....lol
If GoW2 is as good as the 1st one then that means it's not that good other than the MP the Campaign was quite underwhelming to say the least and it's still just 6 hrs long in GoW2...
but good you get to enjoy laggy 5 vs 5 Player modes online...while I can enjoy 60 player online matches...^_^
I dont think Mart owns an Xbox ne more cuz im sure Little Big Planet isn't coming to the 360.....
and BTW why Bring up MS2 into this which off-road racer does the 360 has that can compete , and dont bother to state "Pure". lol
Graphics is just as important as gameplay in this day and age ,
so now that another 360 exclusive kinda sucks in the graphics department it's all about gameplay.
But if a PS3 exclusive has sub-par graphics it's a flop and the PS3 is a technological failure and what not....
Graphics is the first impression you get from a game....!!!
We all know the reason Gears will be getting high scores..it's not really about the quality of the game it's just because it's GoW2...just like what happenned with Halo 3 and GTA4.....
RFOM2 will come out on top this time though
Thats exactly what I was thinking also..but still a good score none the less...but it still desrves the 10 since they reviewed an unfinished version
