happyface we all know that is not true wii is not thrashing the competition like ps2 and ps1 did before it, there was a much bigger gap in the amount of sales, like it or not there is much more even competition now, and the wii is slowing down, it is struggling to maintain second at the moment between it and ps3, by next year i think wii will be third in console sales and everyone would have moved to x360/ps3

it was a gimmick because nintendo also made daft promises, the wiimote was not very precise at all, producing the wrist flick moves for cheating is till see played today, they had to make an peripheral to fix the sensitivity, which still did not detect strenght of hit or backspin/spin properly....

Incase no-one had noticed move advertising has not even started yet, I can't go anywhere without seeing gay adverts for kinect, so as sson as we see the adverts for move more people will know about it, word of mouth will spread and the people will know it's not wiimote all over again, it's the most accurate and precise motion controller out there and actually adds more functionality such as augmented reality and object modelling, I personally can wait for that.

carry on with the theories, ps3 games like gow 3 and uncharted 2 are better than anything on x360 graphically and gameplay wise, not to mention story...
people are forgetting how much the wii cost when it first came out yes it cost a good £250, now sony is offerening a move package for a little bit more than this, but it' new technology that is more advanced, precise and has hd graphics, I think the move will be a better seller amongst current owners as a move controller is less than a dualshock controller
