Yea, you can transfer your current data to an external HDD. I think it will have to have a FAT32 partition to do it. Fairly easy to do it. Pretty sure it is all spelled out in the online instruction PS3 guide.

You do know they fixed the six-axis only controls with a patch and allowed for analog stick controls, right? I played all the way thru with the motion controls, I guess I "got use to them". Not the best game ever made, but was way better than the reviews I saw. So, if the controls were a problem, rent the game now, download the new controls, and play thru it, that is, if you were really that excited about it.
I am pretty sure Microsoft will announce Halo 4 during the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics this summer. Right as they light the torch, a huge screen will light up with Master Chiefs helmet with a big 4 overlaid on it.

You buy your $299 XBox from Microsoft, and if a browser was put on it, it would have to be some sort of Windows program, most likely Vista since it is the latest and well, hmmmm, greatest, heh. I love my PS3, I prefer it to my 360, but LBP doesn't really get me all the excited either. If it were not for all the hype and great things I read and hear about it, I would not have looked twice at it. But, as I did with Halo 3, I am gonna buy it based on all the good stuff being said.

Anyway, a MMO targeted at kids that age kinda concerns me. I have played my fair share of MMO's and kids don't need to get into the sit in front of the computer drinking Mountain Dew and Red Bull for hours and hours on end to get that next level or clear the dungeon or whatever. Short campy games for that age so they can play when they can and go outside and play as well.

Now, I got the info from Wiki, so I am sure it probably isn't the best. But Gears of War has been out almost 2 years and has shipped 4.7 million copies (including the PC version) not only that, it took 10 weeks to get the 3 million. I am still trying to figure out why this is such a terrible thing for us "the gamers". I have both consoles, I will get it on the PS3, cause I have been playing FF with the PS controller since FFVII, and using the XBox controller would feel foreign. And that is my only reason. As dumb or petty as that may seem, its the truth.

I was a whole lot more excited about Netflix coming to the 360. Gonna drop blockbuster and switch over. As for final fantasy coming over. That sucks for Sony losing an exclusive, but also extremely sad for the huge announcement of your key note to be that you now have a game that is multiplatform :/.
www.vgchartz.com is the only site I know that "estimates" the numbers. Usually runs a couple of weeks behind. Although, looking at some of the graphs you can pull up is interesting. Especially the ones where you can compare all the consoles sales from launch of each one as the starting point.
I have a logitech Harmony remote and an IR sensor would have been nice. Old tech or not, its really cheap and could have been installed for just this reason. But you know, I got over it.
As for the cable, the guy talks about how easy it is to switch out the batteries packs from his charger or plug up his charging cable while playing his 360. I wonder if he remembers that he had to buy all of those things extra. They didn't come with my 360, I had to spend a whole lot more mon...
If it is rentals, would we be able to either download direct to PSP's or transfer from the PS3 to the PSP like you can Blurays? Or maybe be able to remote play them. That would be a really really nice feature.
First of all, MGS4 is no doubt in my top 3 games of all time. I love it.
So with that, MGS is a different beast than a ton of games out there that "it looks like". I go to my brothers house after telling him how amazing this game is. He goes out and buys it, and him and his 17 y/o son, both of which have never played any mgs games begin to curse me for telling them how great this game is. Then I ask them to play it, and they go around like its Halo or Call of Duty, ...
Other than both being MMO's, they are two totally different games. Mythic does one thing in MMO's better than just about anyone, and that is PvP. If you like PvP in many many forms, then WAR is probably the game you want to play. If PvE is your thing, then play WoW.
Just remember, if you do play WAR, dont expect everything to be the same as WoW. Yea, there are quests of go kill xx number of whatever and come back just like every other MMO, but there are very few, "hey, ...
