All this talk of games coming out that will boost sales! Forget it.
Games mean jack to the average Joe looking to buy an affordable console. Such a person couldn't care less if Killzone 2 looked like a god. All they would do is have a quick glance at their budget and current financial situaion and decide. It all depends on the money.
Remember we are NOT all living in a world where everybody is RICH and driving Exotic-Flashy cars... we are on earth. The poor and less wealthy...

This game can ONLY be compared to the best looking PS3 TPS.

because if you didn't know it is FAR more difficult and tasking to get such graphic detail from a game in the TPS view than from one in the FPS... its quite logical really. First every thing will need to be rendered at a much higher quality for it to keep its outstanding level of detail.

To be honest I don't see the Japanese getting anywhere as excited for LBP as they did for Metal Gear Solid or even any JRPGs!
Remember the Japanese are a more secluded and less open community of people. They are more found and honoured to their traditions and culture than us Europeans or Americans. For us... we could play all sorts of games. But for them... they will most likely play what suits the Japanese culture better...
And I doubt LBP is a game that does that... <...

all points laid out perfectly and sensibly, I have said it before on this site only PES fan boys still think PES has better game-play than FIFA, that was a thing of the past and people seriously need to give it up, its just childish now. having played both games demo's, I immediately knew which was a real football simulation and which was arcade, in fact just looking at the menus I could tell, PES is now for thrills and spills, while FIFA is tactical, slower and more realistic then PES, lets ...

Sony are making HEAVY losses on each PS3 sold... because the price they sell undercuts the production price! If they go further down it will ONLY make Sony's situation worse... Their losses will be too great to even carry on. Remember Sony is a multi-billion dollar company but they will NOT jeopardise their Company for the sake of the PS3.
Sony need to find a way of making profit from their console because currently they have fallen so far down in terms of Market share and profit...
