Is it truly a remake then? Totally different game mechanics. I would call it a reimaging
same goes for any game really. i remember toe jam and earl on the original xbox got horrible reviews but i grew up with that game on the sega genesis and loved both games.
a ps4 battlefront bundle, exclusive marketing deal and more people on ps4 vs xb1 is why theres more people playing it on ps4...its pretty obvious

I always wanted to get this game but I was and still am confused about it. There's so many things that come up when you search dead or alive so much dlc and the prices are all over the place.

Weren't the micro transactions in the last of us for OP guns in multiplayer that could only be acquired with money? Seems a little different.
It's all about how the micro transactions are handled. If gamers don't like it they won't buy it... Look at evolve.
Consoles shouldn't be judged by what's coming only by what's currently available. People like to make lists of games coming and I remember lists years ago which included the last guardian and the agent. People made lists for ps4 games that had pt.
The first 10 months of the year do matter but honestly what AAA exclusives did we get from Sony? The order and bloodborne? Not a lot.
They obviously couldn't give away games for free since it isn't a direct port, with the added trophies and increased framerate and resolution. But if you own the game on ps3 and it's tied to your account you should get a discount or the option to have the standard version with no upgrades.

BC on the xb1 allows discs you just need to have the disc in the console to play

Honestly to me it all depends on how good the game is. I would have gotten bf4 if it didn't have single player. It wasn't that great and I only play the mp anyway. Titan fall was also great,it launched with so many maps and at the time there really wasn't much else to play. Saying that, I would have liked more game modes for Titan fall(which they added) more titans, more guns and a story mode would have been cool.
