Naughty Dog is arguably Sony's best developer. If they just announced The Lost Legacy, there would still be uncertainty about what the rest of the team is working on.
With TLOU2's announcement, that uncertainty is gone, and people who are still thinking about getting a PS4 have a really good reason to pick one up between now and its release.
The Last of Us Part II confirmed > something Naughty Dog is developing
Tommy's settlement being the motivation behind her rampage was something I came up with based on the thought that Joel and Ellie had probably been settled into Jackson for some time prior to them getting wiped out. There are apparently theories floating around that Ellie has a love interest and that losing that person would be the reason for her anger. I feel like it needs to tie back to the first game more than a new character's death getting shoe-horned in though.

I haven't been this excited for a game for some time.
It's a full-fledged FF game and worth the asking price, though Square asking a total $100 for both the PS4 and VITA versions is a little steep. I was hoping for cross-buy.
I understand being on a budget, but make no mistake. It's a AAA experience. I didn't mention it in the review, but the sheer quantity of voice-acting is staggering. It's not exactly all quality, but there's very little unspoken text.
It's definitely a Day One for me.
I've been intrigued since the debut.
Very intrigued by Superhot. I never knew anything about it.
I am quite enjoying my time with Alien: Isolation. Gotta agree with Chris on that one.
They certainly weren't good singleplayer experiences, but multiplayer rocked.
Still, I'll take the delay. Make it good, BioWare.
I understand what you're saying, but I just don't think Bethesda would be that partial to one platform unless there was some sort of deal with Microsoft, which I feel would have been leaked by this point.
If they were going to have that kind of a business plan, I would imagine Bethesda would have implemented it for both platforms. I find it more likely there is something they have never been able to work around in PlayStation platforms, rather than there's some ...
I'd be fine with Vita 1
Unfortunately, we'll end up with no Bethesda games if every PlayStation gamer stops buying content. I'd rather have a sub-par product than none at all. Bethesda's still a good developer, even if their marketing/business practices are a little questionable.
I'd almost accept that point if mods weren't already released on Xbox One. I'm not a dev, but is the architecture that different?
Well this is encouraging. Anyone else having flashbacks of Skyrim on PS3? Anyone?
Seems like it's a lot like Journey. Like... A lot.
Love The Shining one.
I've already got one for the next episode I'm on.
Too bad the story didn't come together, but it sounds like a lot of fun!
You know the writer's opinion basically mirrored your own, right?
