That's when I put down my $5, too.
Gamestop too.
And the internet replied with a resounding "meh." I need to see something else for it to wow me. Generic city. At least it didn't take away any surprises from next week.
Oh silly me... how could I not see that.
xD
And this is in the 360 section why...? lol
I wouldn't be so quick to say this is leaked... I don't see it online =P It was just "sold early"... lol
Honestly I didn't know about this game until a few days ago and now I can't wait to buy it. A turn based RPG is exactly what I've been craving. Golden Sun and Lost Odyssey are two of my favorite RPGs so I'll be glad to see what this has to offer. The great review is also very encouraging.
THANK GOD. The file transfer rates are what kills me. That and the recycling bin errors. Such a step backwards but luckily they're being fixed.
Really? That demo is worth that much to you? I imported it from Japan and sorry to say, I regret spending what I did. It was cool to finally play it but there really was not much there, and what is there is being modified before the release anyway. The main attraction in this package is definitely the Blu-Ray version of FFVII: Advent Children. This is the definitive version of the movie to own, and it's a shame they didn't release this three years ago.
It's funny, this article tells us to move on, yet Square isn't moving on. There's still one unannounced part of the compilation. Square will make a remake one day, but who knows when it'll be.
This game looks fantastic. Finally a good traditional RPG that I can sink my teeth into. Look forward to this week.
Tomorrow IS the 18th...
View the source of the page and METAL GEAR is in the keywords. So... looks like it's the next Metal Gear game.
They can kiss my service goodbye if that ever becomes true.
Uh, why don't we try the simple fact that THE GAME ISN'T OUT YET?! It still has 6-7 months of development and the core focus during that time is refining the game's MECHANICS. Graphics are important and take time too, but they're going to take last priority always. Unfinished products don't need to be held to the brutal graphical expectations of today.. when the game comes out in November everyone will look back on this and just be like, well that was stupid. Because it is. Anything for hits ...
I'm perfectly content with a JRPG taking an average of 40-50 hours to complete. It's a slower paced genre and because of that, a 10 hour JRPG would definitely feel rushed and lacking, imho.
Now, if a shooter was 40-50 hours... holy crap. No way. 10-12 hours feels sufficient, perhaps 15-20 depending on the title. A platformer could be from 20-30 hours. Mirror's Edge should've been 10-ish. Puzzle games should have endless modes. It all depends on the genre, but right now most games...
Got the Collector's edition... a little disappointed they're cloning the bonus disc from that for the platinum hits version... ah well.
And it's not 80% off because it's not $40 off... regular price is $19.99 right now so it's really only half off. o_O
I'm wondering if perhaps I have a better chance at getting into the Beta if I use my Mac versus my PC... :)
LOL... "blue ray lasor replace by TIGUY99.pdf"
Yeah, reading that filename really makes me want to open my PS3 up...
Only a couple weeks now and we'll get the skinny on all this. I'm sure this is legit seeing how close it is to the reveal. I'll be upgrading to this model!
