Edit: Maybe it's Knuckles! Looking at the consistancy, all the characters have at least one counterpart vertically... if not an entire column of one game. Hopefully it's not Shadow, but I'd guess it would be someone from the Sonic universe!
Dude.... remind me why you're kicking yourself. You have the most technologically advanced PS3 (Emotion Engine anyone?) that got discontinued for costing too much to make. It's the ultimate PS3. I have one too... if there were anything I'd do, I'd just upgrade the HDD... which I don't feel I need to. I get rid of demos after I play 'em. So I'm cool. You should be too.
Man, I'm glad I got my Emotion-Engine injected PS3 when the price cut happened during the summer. Full PS2 BC + upconversion, and an unlimited memory card dumping station essentially. Looks like us 60GB owners will really own a collector's item! (20GB too... but that doesn't count as much =P )
No crap they're holding back a lot, the game's not out yet, the hype is so high, why would they release more when they can release less and every GTA junkie will gobble whatever they throw at them up? Either this is going to be game of the year material, or a next gen rehash of GTA i.e. Halo 3 being Halo 2.5, this could be San Andreas 1.5.

I don't understand why people keep posting these unnecessarily huge trailers. Face it, if it wasn't in 1080p to begin with, upscaling it isn't going to make it look much better, when you can upscale the original file itself, instead. I downloaded the AVI's the night they came out and played them out from my Macbook Pro's DVI to the HDMI of my 50" Sony 1080p TV and it upscaled them just as well, if not better than what these look like on it. I got Condemned 2 for 360 for $19 (x3), Turok for 360 for $29 (x2), and Haze for PS3 for $29 (x2). The pages for all of these games have been flat out taken down now, though. Hope they honor it, it'd be crap if they didn't.

But yeah, hopefully some cheapies come around for it now... it'll be a 'collector's item' now, I'm sure Betamax players are considered a collector's item of sorts.
