if you wanted to keep other os then you dont update your firmware or get online then guess what... ITS STILL ON THERE. when you booted up your ps3 and it said a firmware updates available you clicked a little box that says you agree to thier eula/tos
you had the choice to not update ..but people did...hence other os is just a crutch for the hackers...
had a ps3 since launch been on n4g just as long had an sexbox360 since launch too. i like games but the facts dont lie each year the xbox lead has been dwindleing down and down, every year trolls say the same thing "at this rate it will take XX years for the ps3 to catch up"....now they are projecting it might happen this year. as far as the sales shit goes though....THAT GAME SUX.....imma go play new vegas

so lets say that ms does what the article says releases a new console 2yrs ahead of sony now sure they have a jump on the next gen but, gamingbolt fails to look at the other side..2yrs pass and ms has their next gen console out and its been competing with the ageing ps3 (and on a side note sony would be rakeing in the money after that long with the ps3 on the market)...then sony releases ps4....2yrs after ms releases the new xbox console...how will ms compete with the better tech that it will...
you can buy a cheap walmart flash drive thats 4gb for 8-15$ depending on the day and those work just fine for a ps3....yet you need that 30 512mb mu for 30 for the xbox...that seems fair.....hey WAIT....FAIL....
