I've been playing it, it's really good. Reminds me of the Socom games, obviously because it's by the same developer.

WTF, I don't even? This is nothing but a rant. This has nothing to do with the Vita, the KOTAKU post was not part of the PS Vita add campaign, and even if something the SONY ads did made you angry, how does that make the VITA an "overpriced" gadget?
I had a ton of fun playing CoD 2 with friends. CoD 4 was great too, but not as good as 2. Then everybody wouldn't stop talking about it, it became boring and broken, the community became overrun by 9 year olds, it was terrible.
With a username like yours, I can't tell if you're trying to troll. As Mistajeff said, Sony doesn't really hope to outsell the 3DS, but in my opinion, the PS Vita is the better machine and will thrive.

It's not for everyone. I love it, it's one of the few games that's actually challenging and fun. Most games nowadays are too easy and repetitive.
